Demand of electricity is falling
More and more people moving into apartments.
I call bullshit.
It could change the housing valuations though.
Why would you move into an apartment if its going to cost you a heap in electicity?

Demand of electricity is falling
EV under 30k … 600km range.
Exciting times
Not at night just after sunset in summer.
Your funny list above is nice, but it ignores the fact that there are still issues with EV's that need to be addressed.
Its your approach to everything regarding renewable energy.
Everything renewable = perfect.
Its not. Not yet.

He's talking about the price of chinese cars in china.
Chinese internal combustion cars in China are also very cheap.
Seriously, your viking friend is smoking the environmental dope.
In 18 months when these massive batteries are online The price of electricity will continue to fall.
There are 3.5 million homes with solar and rising, that’s 3.5 million homes that would be silly not to consider an EV.
That’s 3.5 million homes that could potentially have almost zero consumption from the grid with bidirectional charging.
That’s 3.5 million homes that will help charge these massive batteries for use at night.
Renewbles will be perfect when we no longer have to use fossil fuels and the cost of electricity will be close to nothing.
The Xepeng Mona 03 is coming to Aus… you can pre order now.
Can charge from 10% to 80% in under 20 minutes… 600km range.
Estimated price is under 30k AUS.
And they will all benefit from falling electricity prices.30% of Australians rent and the vast majority have landlords who don't care what they pay for electricity.
15% of Australians live in apartments and that's a fast growing stat.
Not sure about others, but I certainly could not afford a $30k car.The Xepeng Mona 03 is coming to Aus… you can pre order now.

At the moment me either, hopefully in a year or 2, but you will be able to afford a second hand EV as these quality options bring the prices down. Not sure about others, but I certainly could not afford a $30k car.
Apart from some time Monday and Wednesday evening/ Thursday morning we've been over 100% renewables pretty much all week.

Imagine being so dumb that you think nuclear would be good in this mix?

The second hand EV market is almost non existent, other than cheap Nissan Leaf imports from Japan… under 15k with low range.
There is going to be an explosion in new EVs in the Australian market in the next 2 years.
Only thing stopping it is anti China sentiments and tariffs.
The US have introduced 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs and have dropped the ball on manufacturing and now are complaining that the technology is moving too fast… they need the tariffs to slow everything down so they can catch up. IDIOTS.
Mass produced electric motors are very cheap.
Batteries continue to fall in price.
We’ve been ripped off by the car Industry for years… massive mark ups, dealer fees, servicing etc…
Embrace EVs because they will be much more affordable than ICE cars and combined with a green grid will create a better society.
What do you think has happened that will change any rip-offs you perceive?
Meanwhile GM and Ford almost went broke from all that ripping off. GM had to be bailed out.
GM sank a huge amount into EV's. They have as much EV technical property as anyone.Ford and GM are going broke for not embracing EVs, as a result their sales are collapsing in China.
The Chinese government pretty much get to choose whether their people are buying EV's or ICE's.
. So the CCP knock on someone’s door and take them down to an EV dealership and force them to buy an EV?
EVs are now cheaper to buy and run.. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
The only governments interfering with choice are those putting tariffs on EVs …. Canada, USA and the EU. Fingers crossed not Australia.
Subsidy.
Very high subsidy.
Ask yourself why cars cost $15000 in China , and double that everywhere else.
Innovation and volume.
Meanwhile we subsidies the fossil fuel industry Billions and give our gas away.
Are you one of those who considers a fuel tax cut for farmers to be a "subsidy"?
Making copies of Tesla isn't really innovative.Innovation and volume.
Meanwhile we subsidies the fossil fuel industry Billions and give our gas away.
You were the one who brought up subsidies.
subsidies can work when directed in areas where it’s most needed.
