I've had a few idiots out themselves to me with that type of racism. Happened a couple times where people would say "oh he should be deported, doesn't belong here etc" because of their race. It's fun to point out I'm an immigrant. Apparently it's not the same because I'm white and English is my first language.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing how his career progresses. Was talking him up on the weekend.

My mum used to say, "Spot the Aussie" when there were a lot of people of diverse backgrounds around. She was the kindest soul to every person regardless of who they were and don't believe she had a racist bone in her body but I used to cringe when she said this and would remind her of how she was an immigrant herself.

Mrs Post is a carer, took her client out last Friday. Claimed 21km on the timesheet, got an abusive call from HR saying the policy is all travel over 15km for that client must be approved in advance and they would only pay 15km.
Client's coordinator has said average 15km a week, client hardly ever goes more than 5-10km if they go out at all. Swings and roundabouts. We've been down this road before with them and got it resolved in the client's favour, now the scumbags in HR are pushing their arbitrary limit.
What's she meant to do? Stop the car in Footscray and tell the client sorry, you've got to take a taxi home because you've used up your kilometres?

Right at the point where they and (more importantly) the client are going to lose a carer because they'd rather spend time arguing on Mrs Posts day off and bitch and moan about paying out an extra $5.28 that the client is entitled to.
