I dont like tennis. Only the Australian open. Dont watch any lead up tournaments dont even watch Wimbledon anymore. 2 weeks per year is my fix

I did use to watch the Wimbledon final, but that was ages go, back when Borg & McEnroe were the major draw-cards.

The Ice-Man & The Brat made the game compulsory viewing back then.

AFL is losing it's appeal for me. Today was the first Grand Final I haven't watched, and I've been overseas for quite a few. Just couldn't be bothered as I knew GWS were going to get belted. NRL is more appealing these days.

There's still Draft-Camp coming up for us futures nutters, come Tuesday….Then the madness that is Trade-Week the week thereafter.

Never a dull moment.

Don't mind the end of the footy season as the break is good. Problem is coming now I find this a shit part of the year. Weather still temperamental, nothing much on (couldn't give a shit about horse racing), work still busy, traffic and congestion still bad etc. Just highlights all the negatives associated with the city.

Best times are September, round March and December/January for holidays. Feb is too hot to the point I can't sleep and October too boring. July is too cold but footy can keep you distracted.

In HS one of my mates old man was an ex jokey and picked the Melbourne Cup winner 3 years in a row. Even he admitted that it was 99% luck.
