We had a caravan in the 90s. Parents sold it by the end of the decade. Cheap flights were a thing by then I guess but also it's probably not something you want to do with kids who aren't 'kids' anymore (my oldest brother turned 18 in 1999).

Not being able to find my shoes.

Could they be in the car... could they be at school. Idk. Fk.

a hazard relating to the walk of shame?

With really young kids they sleep early so you have to sit quietly so you don't wake them up. With older kids they want their own space and don't want to be crammed into a wooden box with their parents and siblings. There's a small window of age where kids love it and it's practical. A friend of mine with kids under 4 or 5 has a camper trailer (basic caravan really) and plans to get his kids their own tent(s) to go camping. I reckon that will work until the kids start to get to high school age and want to hang out with their own friends.

We had a van when I was 6 or 7, not sure how long we had it but can't have been more than 5 years. Dunno if age of kids or general lack of use got it sold.

Caravan with annex is all you need. We have had the kids in the van until this christmas, we will kick them out to the annex. As kids, me and my cousins were happy to stay in the annex until we started doing our own thing around 18+ (get out licence, go away with mates instead) - but still spent time at the caravan. We all now have caravans and our own sites at the same caravan park.

Sport-specific Fox Sports channels are a crock.

FoxFooty should become FoxCricket over the summer. It's so obvious, I wonder why they wouldn't make the switch. There's more than enough content.

Downstairs neighbour. Talks loudly on his phone 5-7 times a day, starts early  Treats his front door facing the stairwell like a window, open.

I have neighbours exactly like that except late at night- im talking any fking hour midnight, 1, 2... yeah it may not be loud music but when there is NO "background" noise whatsoever you are acting like massive campaigners disturbing everyone. Have some fking manners you wanna talk outside go to a fking park not outside a 3 story apartment block.

Heard him (as his conversations are loud and have the door open) say "Magistrates Court", "AVO", "intervention order". People who probably aren't his kids visit him every few days and ask questions where those words get used.

I stomped on the floor 15 minutes ago because it's a little early for hearing him and now he's yelling outside calling me an arseh*le.
