Best way to deal with a crap neighbour is ignore them and dont antagonise them
When questionable mental health is a likely cause even more so

Ok so have a really shit, annoying life then.

/inb4 you will have that no matter what your neighbour does

fu** his mental health. He's the drain here. Pissing me off doesn't help his mental health.

I remember someone around here saying (pb i think) was "suck it up if you live in an apartment you gotta put up with more noise" im the opposite- imo if you live in a AB you need to be way more quieter and considerate. You wanna make a whole lot of fking noise go buy a fking house and fk off.

Am definitely just going to have to bite the bullet- get noise cancelling headphones, no matter what they cost.
The dwellers downstairs i think may be a professional singer and i can hear her rehearsing sometimes.

Yeah i do not want to hear her rehearsing. Esp Celine fking Dion when you aint even that crash hot to begin with honey.
Get an autograph now before she becomes famous

Make diary notes to sell to 60 Minutes for when she is in drug rehab , on the way down and the knives are out for her

Part of the problem is the crappy building practices. Walls are like tissue paper and you hear everything. (Makes you wonder why they are so ****ing expensive) Worse if you live in a block as you may want to be left alone but get dragged into other disputes.

Side note: Been seeing a psychologist myself for years, so 'ignoring' (avoiding) isn't a solution and his mental health isn't getting a free pass to disturb me and yell in the driveway when I make him aware of the disturbance.

Just be careful of unleashing his full crazy

Got pretty lucky with my unit. Double brick and the units arent connected (seperated by car ports) only real noise is screen doors banging shut or people coming home.

I always keep my windows/doors shut coz hate the thought of people walking past looking in.

I'm lucky these days in that I don't have neighbours, but the last place I lived in Oz before moving OS was this place...

I lived on the ground floor, now you see those little pools? One day I was sitting on the terrace minding my own business when all of a sudden a huge noise and splash covered me. The neighbours on the top floor above me had decided they didn't like their double bed mattress anymore and decided to throw it off of their balcony and into my pool.

I was about a week from moving out so didnt do anything about it, and I knew 'of' the guy who lived there and he was an absolute nutcase that I didn't want any trouble from, especially as I was soon to leave the country. IIRC I did mention it to the agent when I handed back the keys. He hadn't long moved in but I also had an old car I didn't use anymore parked outside that just happened to have the engine stolen from it overnight a couple of weeks after he moved in.

Obviously more than two people are using the broadband in our street - have had to turn it off and use 4G so I could have coverage

Drives me nuts -nbn has just arrived and the neighbour reckons that’s worse

paying money for shit

I wish we still had our great grandparents caravan. My dad took it away to live in where he works then eventually sold it to buy a unit at the caravan park instead.

I'd just leave one in the shed and never take it anywhere, it would just serve as the extra bedroom or the shed escape, couple of mates over just hang out in there.

Roads blocked off for a Christmas pageant. Are you kidding me. It's not even close to christmas yet. At least give us some warning.
Unless you have kiddos there's no real excuse for having your Christmas deccys up yet either.

People leaving Christmas decorations up into January shits me. If I cared enough about Christmas to decorate, it'd be packed up on Boxing Day.
