The dwellers downstairs i think may be a professional singer and i can hear her rehearsing sometimes.


Yeah i do not want to hear her rehearsing. Esp Celine fking Dion when you aint even that crash hot to begin with honey.

Bought earplugs weeks ago. But having to use them gets annoying.

Spoke to him 8 days ago about hearing his yawning (!!) and he said he'd try to limit it. Was hearing him yawn from 3pmish until bedtime. Started to creep in doing it again a few days ago.

Figured I could handle the talking during the day so didn't mention that but he does it at shit times too (like this time). And now he's chucked a wobbly.

Going to complain to the rental agent. Landlord was here weeks ago checking smoke alarms and without me mentioning him said "You know you can complain to the rental agent?".

For sure you can complain to them, or body corporate or the council. I would write stuff down- times, dates etc if its that bad. I had a neighbour (old place) just DUMP all this fking green waste on our (shared) front nature strip! It fking sat there for days and days like wtaf. Complained to council and they were really good- the stuff got moved iirc with a few days.

For the fkers outside at 3am in my case now, if they're really bad im calling the police.

They are as quiet as a mouse, they say hello and that is it, and i love them.

The unit next to me I usually only hear when they open their door.

If I can hear it through his roof and my floor and, when my shoes are off, feel vibrations, it's too loud.

He coughs/makes spitting noises and is fat so probably has something physically wrong with him.

There's an Indian family living on the ground floor here. Every single time i walk past the apartment i hear yelling (just their normal kind of talking, not aggressive domestic abuse type yelling) I have NFI how the neighbours down there put up with it.

I've honestly never known anybody that lived in an apartment that hasn't has some problem with a nutjob neighbour. Even a lot that have resided in villa type housing.

Its worse when they are nice guys. The guy who lived next to us in the other villa for 9 years was a lovely dude. Pity when he got drunk he acted like a fking ass blasting "Sex on Fire" up loud at 3 in the morning. Thank christ tho he got healthy and trained to be a boxer. All those drunken nights were a thing of the past.

Then of course who can forget bitch neighbour (who bought the place from him) stealing my flatmates $650 phone.

Other than talkers at 3am, i havent had that bad issues.

Yeah same, my building was built in 1989. Very solid.

Heard him (as his conversations are loud and have the door open) say "Magistrates Court", "AVO", "intervention order". People who probably aren't his kids visit him every few days and ask questions where those words get used.

I stomped on the floor 15 minutes ago because it's a little early for hearing him and now he's yelling outside calling me an arseh*le.

Get a weights set and start using them at 5.30am accidently dropping them on the floor ocassionaly. Get fit and give him the shits at the same time.

He's probably to use Kram terminology a "nutjob". Heard him threatening others or himself on the phone. Suspect he called a suicide hotline once, middle of night call waiting on speaker phone. Heard him wailing around 10am yesterday. Get-the-message stuff like dropping weights would probably worsen things or get me a broken window.

And FWIW i dont think acting like a campaigner right back does anything. And only give THEM something to then complain about you. I'm always considerate of these campaigners- never play loud music, use my ipod when i do want to listen to loud music and never put the TV up loud either.

Best way to deal with a crap neighbour is ignore them and dont antagonise them

I've become more considerate since he moved in and have heard him, concious of what noises could travel down.

On TV, he watches his with the door open...

There was another memorable morning where I stomped my foot because he was on the ****ing phone early then I got woken again as another neighbour banged on his wall.
