Okay people, game day has arrived, have been in a real funk about the state of this team and the level of under performance and abysmal skill level so far this season.
But feeling a lot more positive about the Tigers chances of winning this game tonight.
Make no mistake this is a must win game tonight, with the Demons game looming next week.
The positive about tonights game, with the subsequent injuries, is that it gives the coaching staff (if they are feeling adventurous), the opportunities to make the side less predictable, particularly around the centre square set ups and the forward line rotations set ups.
For mind, starting at the centre bounces, the Tigers need to go a bit more old school and get players that have good clean hands and good kicking ability to deliver the ball to the forwards.

The current starting on ball set up (at ground level) of Taranto, Hopper and Prestia is not clicking at the moment (still a work in progress), would look at starting Dusty, Sonsie and Cotch, with Miller rucking to get momentum going and better quality centre square clearances happening. During the course of the game, can then rotate through the on ball set ups, Ryan rotating with Miller in the ruck (with the resting ruckman playing as a tall forward), and then Bolton, Baker, Taranto and Hopper on ball.
If the delivery of the ball coming into the forward line is markedly better, the team should have enough strike power to kick a winning score, with players of the calibre of Riewoldt, Cumberland, Bolton, Martin, Clarke, Ryan, Miller and hopefully Taranto and Hopper can hit the scoreboard as well. The forward line set up has to be more mobile (no bombing the ball in, sitting it on top of forwards heads), the forwards have to constantly lead and create space for the other forwards around them.

The Tigers do play well at Adelaide Oval, so the ground will hold no fears for them.
Will be a tight game, but backing our boys in to get the job done and get the win this week.

Go Tigers...Raise The Fight...Eat Em Alive

Adelaide win looks good now. Dogs simply ran the game out better than us last week no excuses. With more youth and speed in the team, backs against the wall, and a couple punches to the jaw early, we have the opportunity tonight to kickstart a 2019 feel to the season with injuries to everyone early.

If we win we even the ledger with an even season and a free hit at Melbourne.

Doing the ladder predictor we could be anywhere from 4th to 12th heading into our bye in my mind with a game separating those spots.

This is the sort of game we always seem to win. Lots of injuries, coming off some losses and everyone has wrote us off. It reminds me of that win against Port in 2019

With the swans outs I think we can win now. No Lynch going forward though is going to be a big ask.
Tommy gets molested by the oppo backs every week with no support from the Maggotts!
So reckon Tommy will be easier to cover!

Been underpeforming big time. His injuries have been a blessing throughout our premiership years. Only if soldo was back in this week.
Swans got bumkiss in the ruck, average at best. At worst it'll be a Bumkiss v Halfarse breakeven this week.
