Think so, probably our most experienced fit ruck at this point
Any idea how far along Soldo is?
Soldo listed as short term last week, which would suggest 1-2 weeks, but then needs to build up fitness so more likely 3-4 away.

Dunno why people are romanticising the return of Soldo. He was completely useless last year, in effect it's been 3 years since he was playing ok footy. Last year he couldn't get close to reading the flight of the ball and would shuffle forward, then back and completely lose the ball like a 3 stooges skit. When the ball was on the ground Rebel Wilson would beat him at winning the contest. Play Ryan, Miller and Pickett in the ruck and the players can prepare to rove to opposition rucks. Bring in Banks for Graham, Riewoldt for Lynch and Miller for Nank. Cotchin can take Mansells spot. And Dow gets the vest. Forward structure is gonna suck for a few weeks, play Riewoldt and Miller rotating CHF, plonk Ryan in the square with Bolton crumbing. When Ryan rucks or is on bench isolate Dusty in the square. Someone has to nullify Callum Mills, last year he mopped everything up and did as he pleased. Also rotate Banks, HRS through the wings to see what the future holds. Our KPD have held up ok so far, hopefully it rains again cos their talls might stretch us.

In: Riewoldt, Miller, Banks, Cotchin, Dow.

Out: Nank, Lynch, Graham, Mansell.

I'm proud to say it's not in Richmond DNA to tank. We will keep fighting hard. Unlike Dees and Blues who tanked all those years ago for the Kruezer Cup and got all those high draft concessions year after year to get them to where they are now. Wonder how many Dees/Blues fans would admit this well known fact

Good one mate 😄

As some previous posters have implied it appears loss of key fitness staff has had a detrimental effect eg Lynch with Plantar Fasciitis late last year is now stress fracture requiring surgery, JG has been hobbling since the 2nd round now hamstring, Nank clearly struggling so far this season now ankle surgery. Too many coincidences for my liking, makes me suspicious of others with injury setbacks. What are others views are our medical and fitness staff at fault here?

Most seem like impact injuries so more bad luck than anything conditioning doesn’t make a difference especially for Lynch and Nank

Lynch may have been untreated stress fracture since late last year and Nanks could have been Synonymous, with fitness staff hoping he could carry the injury?

It’s impossible to really say without knowing the details could be related but just as likely to be not related as well

But the calls for a player to play also aren’t just made by one person and would be made after advice from both club and independent doctors and the player themselves declaring themselves fit

Why on earth are we dropping Mansell? No matter your feelings toward him, he was one of our best on the weekend.
