I am not sure how kelly and Geelong can recover.

But i do like it how Geelong see us as losers in this. They will be left with a disgruntled player.

Hmm. Either we got in too late, we want one of the two picks for ourselves, or Geelong cant guarantee 13 alone will do it.

Or we recognise that 20/22 would be overs for pick 13 (closer in value to pick 6).

Very much agree. Now that Gaff has re-signed- we don't need Kelly, even if he would be a handy addition

Freo have a lot of deals to work out. I don’t think u appreciate how difficult it will be for freo to get any deal done, let alone Kelly’s.

And who says they would give up their first? Why would they give up a top 5 pick for a player who doesn’t want to go there? Honestly, that bit gets forgotten.

Hopefully. I reckon that's a good deal, Nelson would slot straight into their defence. They get good draft pick and defender to slot straight in.
