The media witchunt of Greene has been nothing short of disgusting. He's done nothing outside the rules or spirit of the game.

The AFL needs to make a statement by postponing any judiciary process until after the season. Greene cannot get a fair hearing in the current environment.

After the season is over he'll then get zero weeks and zero punishment.

Let’s wait for what Stevic says I guess but IF that’s a shoulder bump than everyone needs to brace themselves for a large suspension. Not 1-2 or 3 but 6+.
I’m just gonna wait until I hear what Stevic says. Intimidation to make Stevic avoid contact is Greene’s best hope.

Well I do, but camera angles can be deceptive. I went from 6+ yesterday to seeing other footage and saying 1-2. Some look bad, others look minor. Now again I think 6 weeks so I’ll just wait on Stevic version.

Except contact doesn’t take place except for their hands brushing. The camera angle makes it look bad, others would not.

It’s a final, if you want to talk to someone you need to get close to hear over the crowd.

If he says there was no contact despite the camera PROOF he needs to be sacked as an umpire.

Umpires aren't there to be mates, and lying is cheating in a way and compromises the competition (allows Greene to play next week). If Stevic wants to be mates with players he can sit in the stands like the rest of us.

Greene bumped him, I don't know what this shit is about camera angles.

playing for interstate club. If it was a nobody playing for the Bulldogs or even Geelong, sure, the AFL would rub him out. Greene is an absolute grub and unlike many, I don't like to see him play at all. But this is finals and there is a fine for contact precedent this year so 2 grand which is probably sitting in the ashtray in change in Greene's car.

Thankyou for posting the Williams reference. I'm a Hawks supporter but for all these years it's bugged me that Williams was robbed

He was also robbed of a brownlow. One the greatest players I've ever seen, and could have been a triple brownlow medallist. Didn't help his cause that he was a bit of a mongrel on field, and was hated by all the opposition - so was harshly done by.

Also seems to have an enormous opinion of himself in interviews I've heard, but he certainly performed at that level.

Umpires report non incidents on the spot so you would think if the ump took offence he would of put him in the book straight away.
Everyone’s riding the high horse but the person effected didn’t think it deserved a report so why would anyone else??
Give him a fine for a bad look and next season if they want to improve the look of the game anyone who touches an ump does those stupid love taps off the ball stomping, face touching an so forth it’s an automatic week then load up from there depending on circumstances.

None of the players suspended in the last few years for making contact with an umpire....were reported by the umpire. This is not going to save Toby.
