You can want whatever you want driven by WA media spin. Cal Twomey recently said the 2 F1s were driven by media spin and not from clubPort want 2 early teens picks for Houston.
We want 2 late firsts for Barrass and an early 2nd.
The 2 arent even remotely close
only ITKs should be allowed to post in here for sharing.
Sicily is a much better player than Barrass. That's going to be something like 17 + 40 on draft night. Imagine getting that for Sicily.
It honestly doesn't matter what this trade is tbh.if Eagles desperately want to win the trade
I expect the final outcome of Baker & Barrass won't be a straight swap but more likely a net outcome of;It honestly doesn't matter what this trade is tbh.
If the reports are true and we're going to forward your pick on to Richmond for Baker then we're losing this trade period by a huge margin. Barrass is a significantly better player than Baker and much more valuable as a key position.
The semantics of any additional picks doesn't make up for our sheer incompetence should the reports be true.
Bump my post from August, we are at the bolded steps.Trade period will probably play out like this:
- WC will ask for 11 + F1st for Barrass + F2nd
- Hawthorn will offer 27 + F2nd for Barrass + F3rd
- WC will say no and ask for a 1st Rd pick to be included.
- Hawthorn will offer either 11 or F1st.
- WC will ask for 27 or F2nd to be included as well.
- Hawthorn will offer 11 + F3rd.
- WC will counter 11 + F2nd.
- Hawthorn will put final offer 11 + F2nd for Barrass + F3rd.
- Will drag out till finals minutes of trade deadline with threats from both sides of walking away.
- minutes before trade deadline closes
- Hawthorn offer 11 + F2nd
- WC accept, paperwork lodged.
So then there is not a single required player in the comp. What if a club offered Collingwood picks 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+ 3 future picks for Nick Daicos? Would be still be a required player?
You just paid band 1 compo for Battle...Twomey said the second first would be bought by WC paying a big portion of Barrass salary. Not going to get into how that ignores the fact Hawks have money to burn, but will say again that no one outside WA has seriously valued TB at 2 firsts (even with a 2nd coming back).
Each of Houston, Smith and Barrass are worth two first rounders with something going backYou can want whatever you want driven by WA media spin. Cal Twomey recently said the 2 F1s were driven by media spin and not from club
Ryan Daniels on 7 news tonight said the hold up is West Coast want our future second thrown in. They want this deal done fast so they can get others done with our first.
This should upset so many Eagles fan and even some Hawks fans who were ready to throw in the F1 to get the deal done.
I am glad the MM is earning some of his bread. if Smith is pick 16 with something coming back then pick 14 by itself is more than enough, ideally want something coming back but willing to settle at pick 14 as goodwill gesture and for Eagles to "save face"
Houston may end up going for 13 with something coming back or Blues F1+F2
if Eagles desperately want to win the trade, add a pick in late 40's to mix and Hawks F2 can come in to play.
Early teens, so like 13, 14 or 15?Port want 2 early teens picks for Houston.
We want 2 late firsts for Barrass and an early 2nd.
The 2 aren't even remotely close
You are so delusional. We can’t take you seriouslyEach of Houston, Smith and Barrass are worth two first rounders with something going back
Yes, I'm the delusional oneYou are so delusional. We can’t take you seriously
CorrectYes, I'm the delusional one
I don't think that will come into consideration. The problem is our moron club seems intent on trading pick 14 for a midget so naturally we are looking for way more here.
Of course it won't but it comes into my consideration as a supporter itching to have a meltI don't think that will come into consideration.
14 is overs for Barrass but about right for Baker?I know he is contracted, but if he were to nominate for this year’s draft, where might he go? 25 - 35?
We might get 60 - 80 games out of him. If anything, our pick 14 is overs, but about right given he is contracted.
Come on mate, get a grip.Barrass is pretty much the best mark in the competition bar McGovern.
So underrated on the East Coast .
