Traded Tom Scully [traded to Hawthorn for a future fourth round pick]

**** mate, lighten up. This is just a load of unsubstatiated whingeing.

Also, you've done nothing at all to indicate you should be treated with integrity at all. All you've done is insult the club and complain.

I dont normally do this but I'll say it again. Suck shit!
I couldn't care less whether I'm treated with integrity or not. It's a forum with faceless people who are just words on a screen to me.

I said you've 'displayed no integrity at all.' Meaning your attitude towards this trade, the competition and fairness of the game, is one that displays no integrity at all.

If you actually cared about the game as a whole, then you wouldn't be so blase about all this.

It's pretty substantiated, given that there are many others out there who find this to be a rort. If his ankle is fine come the start of 2019, then your club is unethical and the draft system is compromised.

Seems pretty unlikely that you'll care anyway, given that you were perfectly ok with Clarkson having a coffee with McLachlan, because he didn't like an umpiring decision.

There is something that smells off, and it's the poos and wees.

Wonder how bad his ankle injury is?
Bad

Scully's ankle must only have a small chance of recovery and Hawthorn are willing to take a punt on that small chance. It is the only reason I can think of for that deal.
Exactly. People forget he is an elite runner. That's his thing. Imagine taking that ability from him. He may come back but not at the level required. A real shame but people need to use logic in this situation. It isn't a steal, it's a roll of the dice. Jesse Smith left North and gave Saints medical team ago and it never panned out. They said Smith's ankle looked like the ankle of a person that had been in a bad car accident. They said the same about Scully. They said the same about trent hentschel's knee.

I feel sorry for Scully because it only signifies it is as bad as I heard it was.

Graham Wright saying the Hawthorn medical team will have him back 100% fit. If so then hats off to the Hawks but what an absolute rort.
Of course he's going to say that.

You probably already know GWS cap is nearly $2m over for 2020.

Their mismanagement is another teams gain. Particularly if a team has been prudent in cap organisation, and unexpectedly lost a high paid player (Rioli)

Blame GWS, not Hawthorn

Then why couldn't he have gone to the Bulldogs or Saints for Picks 4 or 7? Why is there such a monumental difference in trade value between clubs? Those two teams were willing to offer far more and cover the salary, why has he gone for nothing then? Especially if he's right to play in 2019?

Its outrageous. How do the AFL allow a club to win a flag two years ago and bring in a 2 time Premiership player for a future 4th round pick. Ridiculous.

Also good luck at the Dogs Doc

This Geelong bloke's melting in here is particularly fun to watch.

For me though, i am extremely surprised that Hawthorn are choosing the dumping ground route. Them and the Catters going hammer n claw in the HangingOnLikeGrimDeath Stakes.

Don't think Tigers, Eagles, Demons and Pies are losing one wink of sleep over the 2 ol titleholders antics.

Sacramento are the St Kilda of the NBA, Celtics are the Hawks of the NBA

Anyway, Scully at his best is great, but hard to see a return to that with His ankle joint at a right angle

I’d say the Hawks are more similar to San Antonio and Clarkson is the Greg Popovich of the AFL.

How about actually trading fairly instead of just using all your little f*cking minions to trade you players for nothing. No wonder Clarkson doesn't bother dealing with the draft, he can just wait for other teams to develop players and then pay them f*ck all to come back because he has the AFL wrapped around his finger. What is even the point of the draft? Players can just say 'I want to go to Hawthorn, nowhere else.' Hypothetically, Hawthorn only has pick 55 because they trade out their earlier picks for other players, so then the other club has no choice but to trade to Hawthorn for pick 55. If it's a club without one of Clarkson's disciples, then they might actually play hardball. If it isn't, Clarkson gets what he wants and Hawthorn keep on manipulating the AFL for as long as they like.

Don't act like you wouldn't be cracking the shits if any other club behaved like yours does. Pick 4 and pick 7 on the table for Scully vs a likely pick 55-60, is worlds apart. How you can get away with it is mind-blowing.
