Traded Tom Scully [traded to Hawthorn for a future fourth round pick]

How about actually trading fairly instead of just using all your little f*cking minions to trade you players for nothing. No wonder Clarkson doesn't bother dealing with the draft, he can just wait for other teams to develop players and then pay them f*ck all to come back because he has the AFL wrapped around his finger. What is even the point of the draft? Players can just say 'I want to go to Hawthorn, nowhere else.' Hypothetically, Hawthorn only has pick 55 because they trade out their earlier picks for other players, so then the other club has no choice but to trade to Hawthorn for pick 55. If it's a club without one of Clarkson's disciples, then they might actually play hardball. If it isn't, Clarkson gets what he wants and Hawthorn keep on manipulating the AFL for as long as they like.

Don't act like you wouldn't be cracking the shits if any other club behaved like yours does. Pick 4 and pick 7 on the table for Scully vs a likely pick 55-60, is worlds apart. How you can get away with it is mind-blowing.

haha the melts are funny.
I think end of the day hawks have some pretty good cap room, scully contracted and happy to go there.. done deal. GWS list management to blame here clear and simple.

While clubs like roos and blue baggers wanted him, he also wants to be around in September.

Amusing.

I couldn't care less whether I'm treated with integrity or not. It's a forum with faceless people who are just words on a screen to me.

I said you've 'displayed no integrity at all.' Meaning your attitude towards this trade, the competition and fairness of the game, is one that displays no integrity at all.

If you actually cared about the game as a whole, then you wouldn't be so blase about all this.

It's pretty substantiated, given that there are many others out there who find this to be a rort. If his ankle is fine come the start of 2019, then your club is unethical and the draft system is compromised.

Seems pretty unlikely that you'll care anyway, given that you were perfectly ok with Clarkson having a coffee with McLachlan, because he didn't like an umpiring decision.

There is something that smells off, and it's the poos and wees.
Keep it coming :D

I've come for the melts and have not been disappointed.

Don't recall any outrage when Hawks did a salary dump and traded our 1st and 2nd in the B&F for peanuts in 2016. In fact, all I recall is mass ridicule directed at Hawthorn and Clarkson's expense.

So this is delicious. Keep it coming.
I've come back for seconds. Didn't disappoint. Shall return later.

Want to see Cornes head explode.

People pay notice to Cornes = Cornes wins.

Positive or negative, doesn't matter . Cornes wins.

His ol man trolled South Australia for 40 years. Now Hutchy has taken young Kane national with his ol man's playbook.

Ignore

It actually affects the AFL as a whole. It compromises the draft system and keeps the bottom teams down when they can never acquire established players, because it means that teams like Hawthorn can give up whatever they want and teams like St Kilda can propose to give up the farm, but never actually acquire anyone due to their relatively low standing. It means that the draft becomes meaningless because teams like Hawthorn never have to give up high draft picks, because the system has dictated that they can acquire players for less because of nomination by the players.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that nearly all the Hawthorn supporters in this thread have little to no integrity at all. As I previously said, you'd all be screaming black and blue if you were a team like Gold Coast or St Kilda down the bottom of the ladder.

No complaints when hawthorn traded for O'Meara and had to pay massive overs with the major beneficiary being St Kilda. How did it go again two picks in the 20s in the 2016 draft together with their 2017 first round draft pick in return for St Kilda's 2016 first round pick.

If he starts ‘19 then I think we’ve got away with murder here. I heard he was a chance to miss most of ‘19. I would of backed the medical team to have him perfect for 2020 but if he’s right for ‘19 then that’s amazing.

It’s interesting, GWS almost had him back for finals.. time will tell, but we have the best medical team in the comp, we don’t bring him in if he is borderline at retirement.

Yeah, because someone with a ****ed ankle gets a 4 year deal... My god the corruption and collusion is ridiculous. I don't even care so much now that it's happened, more that you ****wits can't even admit that you're corrupt and that there is back-scratching going on.
