I'm shattered about Bundy, kinda stunned by the Lonergan offer and confused by people in this thread mentioning Blicavs, Varcoe and Motlop?
If Bundy is facing personal issues, I do feel for him as he's always seemed to love the club - hopefully that love manifests itself in him helping us secure a good deal for him. Losing him from the midfield will really sting and we need a good pick or good trade (or both) from Brissy or GC to compensate.
Lonergan should probably take the deal he's been offered but, again, his leaving would hurt and throw our backline into disarray for the next year. We'd deserve something decent in response - whether that be Minson or a highish pick.
Can anyone explain to me where the Blicavs, Motlop and Trav talk is coming from? Who's heard they want out?

if i didn't live in the middle of nowhere i would go binge on fast food to make myself feel better. maccas is about 2 hours away, and kfc about 3 hours, so i guess i will just have to drink lots instead. my town has 4 hardware stores and 5 bottle-o's, just nowhere to buy food.
Is Bundy still contracted to Geelong?
dont know what he put forward, but how about mini pav(kersten) for barlow? you have lots of quality mids and need forward support for original flavoured pav.

I never said he would be traded for a pick in the twenties, so I don't know what you're smoking. I was talking about his worth in relation to picks, not what he would or wouldn't be traded for. I'm happy to be in the extreme minority, because as I see it the majority are talking absolute shit.

If I was Geelong I would almost be tempted to try and trump any deal between the Lions & Pies by saying to the Lions now - Bundy & pick 14 for pick 5. It would be nice to have 2 first round picks (8 or 15 from GC), but considering we haven't ever had a pick as high as 5, I wouldn't mind a shot at that.

On the essence it's not a bad deal, would probably need a 2nd rounder thrown in by you. But I couldn't see Barlow going, is a Freo person now and loves the club. Could see Fyfe or Hill going before Barlow.

Would do that if no trade has been reached between Brisbane and Collingwood over Beams before the supposed 'deadline' Collingwood has set us.

Agree it was a strange speech Daz. He mentioned Blicavs, Duncan, Guthrie and Hyphen as the future leaders. Christensen seemed like the obvious omission.
Just hope like hell the club knew about this when they delisted Schroder.
That said, Christensen could do silk, and cement. Irreplaceable.

You guys should release a press - release saying we are considering Geelong's position etc talk of first round picks and spook the pies.

I think for pick 5 alone that would be overs for him. Pick 5 is for someone like Dangerfield or Fyfe, Bundy is not in that class.
