He's 28, out of Melbourne's best 22 and is on a decent contract that they'd like to move on.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see our midfield mix doesn't work,

The essays on here on why we don't tag why teams get such a run on will become a lot shorter now we have a genuine cooler

A bit sad for him as he loved Melbourne (supported them as a kid) but that’s how AFL is played now… loyalty means nothing unless you’re a fan

we need 2-3 hard bash and crash campaigners to add to this side, feels we lost that element of our side since 16.

it could be a great trade if he used correctly, or a poor one if Beveridge isn't able to adapt.

If we want to develop a tough run with player who doesn't mind getting in an opposition players face he is the guy to do it.

Happy enough with Harmes. He won't tag but having a mature body with some defensive instincts will be a massive boon for our midfield, even if he is limited to being a role player.

There were so many times this year that I wanted to pick someone with some strength and grunt, yet the only option was McComb. This is a clear hole in the list.
