I wouldn't suggest getting him, for his price you can get anyone almost. Deledio should average about 5ppg less for the rest of the year and costs about 60-70k less. Surely 5ppg is worth 70k?

Already have Lids. Keen on Davis though, as he has shown he can pull out some massive scores. Not sure I want to take the risk on Sylvia or Brennan and not keen on Gia.

I'm playing for the league win and pretty much have to win this week, like desperately have to, or I can kiss finals goodbye. Was going to upgrade rich this week and hartlett in 2 weeks, but now I guess I'm going to upgrade coughlan this week, rich in 2 weeks and hold hartlett for a fair chunk of the year- I think he's going to be the highest averaging rookie in the comp this yr so it might not be too bad.

Raines to grima or greenwood? Obviously hard to tell with laidley, but can anyone take a guess at who is more secure?

Then Coughlan to Ablett, Gibbs or Corey? Extra cash might come in handy...

I would upgrade Rich. Cogs might be back in a week. You might get a few points out of an early Cogs upgrade but it will not be the smartest option imo.

Sorry, haven't been watching North games as I just hate Laidley. Don't know on that one.

Not definitely trading yet, but considering Higgins. I know he was named and all but from the start I planned on trading him out at some stage(obviously that changed a little when he started averaging 90+).

Only really considering Sylvia, Brennan and Davis. Perhaps O'Keefe. not overly keen on any of those though, bar Davis. Would prefer not to spend the extra cash on him at the moment.

TTuck -> Cross this week, however still undecided on the following options

1) Rich -> Cooney
a little unnecessary me thinks

2) Ziebell -> O'Keefe
Ziebell seems to have levelled off and might be my last chance to upgrade a cow to ROK

3) Higgins -> Didak/Brown + 40k/ROK + 50k
don't like getting rid of higgins too much, could be a very solid player in the later half

4) Krak -> Goodwin/Brennan (3k short of ROK)
Goodwin has scared me off and attracted me as the season has progressed with his fluctuating scores

5) Krak -> Medhurst
hear me out on this one, Medhurst should be back within the next fortnight-ish and would be at near bottomest price. krak will drop 15-20k this week and if i dont do this trade this week i may not be able to pick up medhurst as krak will keep dropping.
I've got a full squad playing and Mbrown for cover of higgins so meddy can ride the pine

6) Be content with 1 trade for the round and be conservative.

Any thoughts would be muchly appreciated

Thinking Grima/Greenwood for Suban but anyone have any idea for Walker at this point?

I feel like I have been a bit too conservative with my trades, I've got 14 left, $130200 and my starting team is pretty reasonable with only 2 rookies starting, which will most likely become 1 next week:

I reckon there are going to be a lot of injuries at the end of the year with teams resting players in preparation for finals and bottom 8 teams sending players in for early surgery if they are out of finals contention. But I don't really want to overstate this because for all I know the rest of my team could play out the rest of the season, highly unlikely though.

I've got a fair idea of what I'm going to do with some of my upcoming trades, but do you guys reckon I've got too much, too little or satisfactory amounts of trades in relation to my current team?

Grima is more secure than Greenwood IMO. I can see Grima, Hansen and Thompson in the same side but cant see Greenwood keeping his spot when the other injured players return (Pratt, Campbell, JWS, Anthony, etc)

Raines>Anyone under 356k (Gilbee/Enright/Birchall/Mackie at the top of my lists, Gram looks tasty but am not sure of his solidity in the team after being dropped.)

Wouldn't get Sylvia, he's not the real thing. If Didak gets a good score on the weekend I would consider him, but I wouldn't get Davis ATM. I tend to stay away from players when they are at their peak. It's one of my rules. And it works, a lot of people would of picked up Ablett at 500k before he got injured, a lot of people picked up Chapman, Richo and Bowden when they were priced highly. Your decision though, if you like Davis, get him.

I plan to do a double trade next week using 2 of the 3 guys I choose not to cash cow this week to upgrade walker. Whichever 2 I use, it will involve an upgrade in the midfield (ie rich and joseph for muston and ablett/bartel/mitchell/davis). So keep in mind the more cash left over for this week, the closer I am to getting ablett back.

to trade or not to trade!!!

is it me of is trading really hitting fever pitch at the moment - we are midseason and there are lots of rookies in, big price swings and lots of value.

am tempted to downgrade hill to greenwood this week - will leave me broughton and greenwood on the bench as cover which worries me a little.

however i need to cash up ready to pounce on kornes, bartel and didak in the next 3 weeks - i really don't like greenwood or grima for DT - however looking through the options down back - there doesn't seem to be too many other options for later in the season. SO i either keep hill as expensive bench cover or i trade him out this week,
