That 22-25 bracket is something I'd like to keep investing in next year (your Brockman types etc).

Having too many 21 and unders being key players early, and all making the jump into the 22+ bracket in a few years time will mean lots of 'first big boy contracts' at once, some overload injuries before they're ready to deal with it, leadership timing stuff etc etc - don't want to be gold coast.

We'll have the Reid/Ginbey/Hewitt types demand games early and that's natural but I actually would like the Brockman/Petrucelle/Witherden types having really good 2024-5s and holding their spots to spread the age wave for that reason. Let a few of the under 21s get confidence in their abilities at WAFL level, assuming that's possible with our

People wanted to draft him. This board (and frankly the club) are obsessed with players from WA they wanted to/considered drafting that went to another club, regardless of how they've gone since. You should resign yourself for Busslinger being brought up as a target from now until the end of his career.

It's more than that. Western Bulldogs are struggling with cap space, have a plethora of young talls, and we need a young KPD. Pretty fair target for us to identify tbh.

Great move from the club and it’ll go a long way to showing Reid how committed we are to him and getting him settled.

If true, this is a great get. Think the kid has some talent and was a victim of list depth at GWS. Harshly cut short imo.

Not only nice for Reid to have a mate over here but I think he's a genuine shot to get back on an AFL list.

Considering we now have Chesser, Long, Burgiel who were already on the list who knew Reid. Now adding Archer Reid (who played with him this year), with and Gilbee who is his mate.

TK and JJ who are players he followed when at Geelong.

He should be completely stoked.
