Surely if you're doing the "highlight video rounds" like most other 'experts' on the board, Riley Bonners looks the best.

Bonners and Clarkes highlights are quite exceptional.

That means they are instantly the 2 that i want the most. Everyone else is shit

Yep big NO to Watson.

Watson is slow and has the turning circle of a bus !
He can't keep up on a lead and can't stay on his man when he gets turned around .
As a forward he can't get seperation on a lead due to being treacle slow .
It's a shame because he has a great kick and a very good set of hands

I read that article however I always get worried about player who need the wake up call of being delisted to get serious about their application and preparation toward their football craft.

To me it's not a great character trait or indication of adequate dedication if you need a rocket up your arse to remind you to get your shit together.

Having said that I also don't believe that Watson was coaches at all well at Carlton. They kept chopping and changing his role . He IMO looked better as a forward than a defender. Someone will give him a second chance but I highly doubt it would be us.

Yeah ok well said ,

Maybe a Melb team will give Watson another chance With nothing to lose really on the rookie list just build up his work rate as his skills are pretty good and still a thumping left boot plus if he loses 4 or 5 kgs from his 101 kg frame and works hard he may gain more speed and mobility .

Not more ruthless, they had to cut someone because they traded in Hampton and Seedsman and Wright was the one left without a contract. People here overrating Wright though, being 'better than McGinnity' is hardly a glowing endorsement.

That's the Wright I know. Obviously seen a bit of him living in Adelaide. Good left foot if its a 20m pass to a chest running straight at him but other than that he's no good.
Very much an outside small foward with one trick who doesn't kick goals.

Had Clarke going to Freo which i hope doesn't happen and other targets discussed going before our pick as well. Does anyone know anything about McCasker? never heard of him before.

If you want to check the accuracy of that, check out Paige's phantom draft from this time last year on the Phantom Drafts board. It's good htat she points out that picks 23 and 31 are really 30 and 38. Rest is pinch of salt stuff.

Apparently McCasker did a good job on Schache during the under 18's
From Foxsports:

"The last time these two sides met Schache bagged eight and the margin was 105 points, but he was well held by WA defender Jesse Glass-McCasker."

McCasker also polled 5th in the standing vertical jump and 6th in the running vertical jump in this years combine. From what i can gather seems like he could be a hidden talent possibly in this years draft.

O'brien who got delisted from the lions looks interesting as a depth midfielder on the rookie list. His stats were good and his run in with the coach didn't help him getting selected.

I still don't understand how our pick 23 can become pick 30. Are there really 7 academy Or F/S players in the best 23 of this draft?
