Well I'm off cycling in India for 2 weeks. So I won't be bale to check this thread, and find out that nothing is happening. Hopefully I come back and we've got Fyfe. But I expect we'll add pick 53 to our arsenal. :p
Safe travels.

Butler officially requested a trade to Saints.

Mitch Clearly reckons a 4th or 5th round pick will do the job.

AFL.com.au understands Butler will walk for next to nothing, with the Tigers well aware of St Kilda's long list of demands this Telstra AFL Trade Period.

Richmond's asking price falls in line with deals it did last year for Corey Ellis and Anthony Miles (combined for a swap of future third-round picks with Gold Coast), Sam Lloyd (pick 64) and Tyson Stengle (68).

David King is a complete *******

HE IS NOT! He's still in training and not a compete ****wit yet - but, he's well in the way..........................

Hope list managers and clubs remember the deals we have given them in the future and return the favour if similar types want to come to Richmond and we have interest

Sounds like we're more interested in creating more cap space.

While it may be frustrating that we don't get a lot in return for these trades, just remember that we're only ever losing fringe players while winning flags. It's also creating a good reputation by accommodating trades with other clubs - who have long memories. I dare say we're playing the long game and have full faith we're just so well run.

So we get a pick that we probably won't even use? And why should we care in the least about St Kilda's 'long list of demands'. That is their problem not ours. I mean are we trading or simply re-homing our players. Personally I'd rather just let him walk into the draft if that is the best that anyone will offer.

Absolutely Rocky..... Know when to hold em, and know when to fold em...... Sometimes cap space is king

Whats Butler on??

Well no one would actually know that, it's all guess-timates.

Essentially, Butler isn't best 22 and we all know that, so in 12 months time, he'll be even further away so it makes sense just to cut ties. We'll draft youngsters on a fraction of the cost who could have much more upside.

We have Stack, RCD, Ross, Turner, Naish, CCJ who we'll prioritise for AFL game time. Even Luke English could play a similar role to Butler with midfield stints, he's a bit of a forgotten man.

We know exactly what we're doing.

Very true, and although we don’t get much we are still getting something whereas every other club is delisting players that aren’t up to AFL standard. At the end of the day because we have upgraded Stack and Baker (rightfully so) we need to get Butler, Menadue etc off our list so we can use picks 19, 38, 39 and 41.
