I’m sure he can play but you can’t deny his value has been inflated due to the lack of quality available this trade period. Last season we had Lynch, Shiel, Beams, Neale, May, Hogan, etc. all on the move This year it will be Kelly, Daniher, Papley and a sh*t load of fringe players.

Also if he was rated so highly why wasn’t he getting a game against some of Port’s underperforming KPPs?

Because the coaching staff tried to turn him into a forward ( a position dougal ain't happy with)
He's a natural defender and should be left there,,,

its hard to argue with when Richmond keep winning flags and have apparently unprecedentedly good culture -

but yeah its annoying to be the good guys at trade week. Hopefully we continue to replenish with another layer of talented youth. It wasnt that long ago the AFL world seemed to be saying Miles/Lloyd/Stengle etc. leaving would be the death of the tigers
