All good I think it’s worthy discussion!
Until JDG started doing some frankly remarkable things forward of centre, for a guy with below average forward IQ, I thought Sier could be an option in the front half!

What is it about McLarty that has you keen for him to debut ATM? I must admit I’m more hesitant and believe we’ve missed our window until the Brisbane match.

What do you think we need I50? Given the pieces of the puzzle we already have I’d like us to try and find a J Riewoldt type that really competes in the air and on the ground, but is happy to sacrifice their game for the team. There aren’t many around though except perhaps C Moore, O’Brien and Membrey.
Membrey would suit our set up nicely IMO. Can play tall/small and works around the ground nicely.

If GC don’t match the Lynch offer, how does the compo be affected if they want to pursue other FA’s? Eg Miles, Lloyd, Wallis etc is it worth trading for them? If so, what would they have to give up?

Might be an unpopular opinion and I do think May is pretty good, but from what I've seen...

Turnovers by foot, decision making - worse than Langdon, who cops it in here for that
1-on-1 - worse than Scharenberg, who cops it in here for that
Brain fades - worse than Maynard, who cops it in here for that
Cost - Too bloody much

If we were talking a second round pick and 400k pa I'd be on board, but we're nowhere near that.

Why are you such a negative angry person all the time? Remove the pole thats up your butt
Im not negative. Far from it, just some people write unrealistic garbage that sook it up when someone says something.

Though cost us a lot more then Lynch
Only if we get Lynch without having to trade for him. Mays contracted so could be money wise a lot less

But have to give up 1st Round + Something Else
As l said if we don’t have to trade for Lynch, but if we do May will cost less in money

May is vastly superior to Shaz one out. But agree with the rest. I just want Dunn's knee to come good and for him to be 5 years younger.

I didn’t watch the Cats v Demons last night, but I’ve always been a fan of Sam Frost. He’s not the worst player. Agile and big. Disposalthe issue. How did he go last night?

I wouldn’t mind him for a cheap 3rd rounder. We tend to do good with Melbourne players. He could take the big giant forwards. 194 cms.

What price are you willing to pay for that? As you’ve no doubt realised that is essentially Dunn so where do you draw the line on bringing in a 26yo clone of your current FB?

I’m open to it, but nowhere near as open as some it seems who are running with lines like “I’d prefer May over Lynch”! What I want to weigh up is whether investing a 1st round pick + into May is more beneficial than giving McLarty, Dunn and Moore a further 24 months?
