Isaac Quaynor - will his name give us nightmares in terms of spelling and pronunciation? - looks to be body-ready for senior footy. Can he do a Stephenson, debut in round 1 and play all year - and if so, who will he push out?

Then again Stephenson didnt look body-ready, and the rest is history...

He's got nothing on Atu Bosenavulagi...

From reports he probably goes straight to a back pocket or HBF, and takes the spot thats been shared by a mish-mash of guys this year (Murray, Appleby, Aish, Greenwood...) and hopefully we get consistency with Maynard and Quaynor as our reliable small defenders.

Glad to see you back to your best, Gimpy, dishing out helpful life hints and advice. You made some serious posts after the GF. Had some of us worried.

A 3am roached souv at Ulysses has a way of whipping a man right back into tip top form again re.

There's no way in hell we don't re-sign Goldsack so don't pay any attention to the media - they now shift to a cycle of posting opinion and rumour as soon as it comes across the desk rather than sitting on the story for a couple of days which is why you see crap like this.

Idle speculation based on nothing more than the remnant of a stale fart still gets clicks and views so media "reporters" will just throw anything up if it has even the smallest chance of being plausible, on the off chance they might get stupidly lucky and hit the mark - they're basically in in a race to see who can reach the bottom of the barrel quickest nowadays.

So you mean....just like normal?

So, Landon and Moore staying but no love for the Sack?

I would give him a year extension for his hard work and dedication to the club alone.
Oh there’s plenty and plenty of love for the sack.

And with the greatest respect to the heart and soul player we should be seeing in 2019 player(s) passing him.

But love is never in short supply for him.

I’m not sure if we should re-sign Greenwood. It would have to be a bargain basement price. I understand that we need to have team-unity, but I would be very surprised if he played more than 5 games next year.

I would expect Daicos and Callum Brown to over take him. If we have a fit Wells, that would push him out too.

One of the first i would cut to save some cash.
Replaceable.

It's a lot worse nowadays and almost everyone is doing it - even the front-and-centre types who get their mug on CH7 have no scruples nowadays and just report their own wild guesses.

It's like any sense of shame was left at the door on their way in - next day (sometimes even same day) backflipping has become the norm rather than the exception.

Ridiculous. As Knightmare notes, he didn't make the best 6 for Oakleigh in any of their finals. And if I watch that draft kicking test, I thought he was pretty ordinary on his left. For a 182cm player who doesn't rack up much of the pill, that's not Top 10 pick material.

Absolutely on point, but Soups was taking the piss out of Twomey.

The goal kicking test doesn't affect his draft order.
Will probably kick no more than 20-30 goals in his AFL career.

His field kicking was disappointing, and this aspect is why he is not a first round selection.

Liking the name Grundy. KPD. Get it happening.

Really one of the first you’d cut. I reckon I could find 8 - 10 I’d flick first. Plays his role well is limited but effective.

As disappointing as it has been from our own internal perspective it has been far better than Melbourne's over Howe's first 5-6 years in the system.

Pretty subjective really isn't it. A finish outside the 8 is a finish outside the 8. One could equally argue that our seasons were more soul destroying on a young player because of the performance highs and lows.
