Worried that Beams back in might push someone like Sier out of the midfield. Out of contract next year and won’t be surprised to see other clubs chase him with a good deal and guaranteed midfield time.
Beams won’t push Sier out. There are others who will make way before him.

Wouldn’t be adverse to seeing Pendles move behind the ball in defence if Beams joins.
Has crossed my mind as the logical move for him to extend his career. However with the the new 6-6-6 rules for next year; I have concerns about trying to hide midfielders in other positions (especially defence).

Dees looked vulnerable with both Vince and Lewis in their defence to the point where they had to drop Vince. Lewis still looked pretty cooked hiding in the backline and fear Pendles may get exposed with his lack of speed or pace.

I hope he doesn’t because the kid is a star. Just worried we can’t accommodate all our midfielders without turning into a ‘front running’ midfield if we push out the role players OR expose ourselves trying to hide midfielders in defence.

The more I read this the more I think this is more or less just Thomas and Phillips for Pick 2. Do we dress up in burglar clothes before we go into AFL House though?
For pick 2 you'd move Thomas and Phillips.

Get Jack Lukosius
With Mr D Beams

That is a nice little bit of burglary.

Very handy

If they where all fit and playing, it’s a very good group, but will we ever see it though

Out of the 9 guys there who are currently on our list, 8 played together in the GF. Beams has played 40 of the last 44 for Brisbane. That only leaves Wells, who should be considered a bonus if we get any meaningful games out of him.

Yeah that was the rumour on Saturday, they currently hold:

WB 63. Western Bulldogs (received from Fremantle in 2017)
WB 64. Western Bulldogs

So points wise if we can get one:
63 112
or
64 101

Not sure it helps us a lot given we only have 453 points without it after 18 gets traded (keep forgetting re Faz no points in other post) .

Yeah, add those points values to the discount of 197 (I think that's what it is) and you start move into the realms of decent picks.

64 has gone to the Tigers for Sam Lloyd.

After all this excitement we probably get nothing done and we’ll find a way to downgrade 18 to like 43 or something.
If we get nothing done then we still gave 18, no? So not a downgrade.
