I still have the image of McGovern easily pushing Mihocek out of the way in the qualifying final burnt in my brain.
I'm missing something Bruce is average at best.
Nice of you to use the averages.

2014 - 4 goals
2015 - 50 goals
2016 - 38 goals
2017 - 36 goals
2018 - 4 goals

As a key forward that is one good season as far as I’m concerned.

His stats are very similar to Mihocek (whose got more scope only 12 games ever) and he takes most of his marks on the lead like a mid size fwd. Saints go to him often.
He goes missing during games regularly.

Trade Diary, 9 October 2018.

What a piece of work is a pony, how devious in reason, how infinite in evil, In form and moving how like a small and furry chainsaw, In action how like an outlaw bikie, In apprehension how like a God if the God was the kind Eric Abetz would like but worse.

The beauty of the underworld, The paragon of animals. And yet to me, what is this quintessence of horror? Give me Steven May for a first rounder and call it even. You can have Beams. He's a ******* pony you bastards.

Oh, also nothing of interest happened.
Now Josh, time for your oiling. I have truffled oil tonight, my treat. It's...extra virgin.
Ah Bad horse

Never ever lower your pony boy mantra.
It’s gold, gold I say.

Lonie 16 goals from 11 games, extrapolate that over 22 games it's 32 goals. Pies mids feeding him instead of Saints. Rkn he could easily kick more than 40.

That's wildly optimistic. That would make him our leading goal kicker at the end of the home and away from this year. There's no way.

2014 - 4 goals (10 Games) Not sure but probably played defence for most of these 10 games
2015 - 50 goals (22 Games)
2016 - 38 goals (20 Games)
2017 - 36 goals (20 Games)
2018 - 4 goals (3 Games)

So other than 2015 he has averaged less than 2 goals a game as his teams principal key deep forward.

And now he’s injured.

Personally I don’t see him adding one skerrick of value to our team.

Doesn't worry me one way or another - in fact I've heard nothing credible that we are even looking at him seriously so not sure why the angst.

I'll be happy or crack the sads in due course - probably once TD starts the welcome thread would be the right time.

Just on the foxtel trade show, they are saying Langdon staying at Collingwood hangs in a balance they will talk and expand on it later on in the show...more to come

Langdon is important for us, and underrated. If he leaves, need to hope Appleby, Murphy step up and become guns. Which I have a feeling one of them will

Gilding the lily just a tad here. Firstly, Saints had a guy named Riewoldt who rightfully claims the sides title as principle forward, deep or otherwise. And secondly, Bruce essentially played as a KPF/2nd ruck during those years rather than as strictly a KPF. How many who play that dual role average many more than 2 a game?

Beams is never going to happen.
But since 99% of this thread is about crap that will never happen I may as well add my bit.
I would be ok with Beams coming back to the Pies only if he has matured as a person. If he is the same flog that left the club then we don't need him disrupting the cohesion of our group.

Agree, why are people even wasting energy talking about this!?!?!
