They have enough points to match anything from Pick 4 onwards, if we give them 51 61 70.

Remember that all of their later picks will come in by ~3 when Brisbane match the Ashcroft bid. They should have around 1570 points total.

A Lombard bid at ~7 gets them their player and ~pick 50 in return.

They only have 39 and 41. If they get a 3 pick upgrade those picks (36 & 38) will be worth 967.

If our picks become 48, 58 and 67 they will worth 541, for a total of 1508. Less discount is approx 1885.

So they can match max pick 5 bid. I’d be surprised if they got one earlier but still might make us send them more.

CFC would say they are in their window now. So not 8 either.
We are bottoming out, as a list and regenerating , they are not. They have done well to move to position 3 in a great draft.
What has the 2016 pick 3 got to do with anything? We don’t have pick 3, never have.

In 2016 no club was stupid enough to offer us pick 3 that is the point

CFC window will go for 8 years, how on earth will ours open up in 5 to 8?? not a chance
