Lol nobody ever thought of that loophole. PSD is only for previously contracted players. He can nominate for the draft, which he has. As a result of winning the Fothergill-Round-Mitchell medal, doing well at the combine and no doubt impressing clubs during interviews he's gonna have plenty of suitors. He can also nominate for the mid season draft..... which he did. And the club said we would take 3 selections out of our 4 spots, to then only take 2.... one of those Brisbane picks we over generously threw away would've landed him. But hey how dare anyone be critical of any off field dealings the club does since we now have a strong draft hand...... the fact we could've had a superior hand seems irrelevant to the sycophants.

Don’t be a dumb arse. We would be in a far worse position if we missed the Brisbane pick and got stuck with a pile of picks we don’t have the lists spots for. Only 3 teams need picks and there was plenty of competition for brisbanes first pick.

They knew we were a motivated buyer with plenty of coin. Same thing we did to Freo.
