Personally I want him to stay.
Maybe work on his offensive game as well to pinch hit up forward?
I want McBean to stay,takes talls ,as Dan has mentioned a long time to develop.

I liked this guy before his injury(ies). At his best he showed promise and was solid. In his last few games after coming back from rehab though he was glacially slow. Almost comical. Is this his body? Will he get back to his best and improve on it?
