Well he played Jagga as a bottom ager and toweled him up. If that gives you an Indication. Not saying his better, one poster on here has also stated that Jagga having the year off has had the ability to completely focus on footy so he should be ahead of the rest atm. But that will soon change come preseason the rest will catch up/exceed in my opinion. If a bottom ager in the national level is performing well against Guys who are older it should indicate where he sits. I wouldn’t be surprised if went top 4/5 now.

yeah you might be right, I just think one or two might move ahead by the end of 2025, if not more, but I have no idea who else are potential 2025 draftees

Sharp most likely will be top 10 next year and at least top 20 if not even higher

North will rise. I’ve no doubt. Too many good kids now with 30 games under belt. High end talent. Eventually it just clicks. They won’t be world beaters but they are years ahead of us.

WCE are a mess. They will be down with us for a while.
Yeah fair points all.

I don’t see it as a favour for them at all. They’d gladly keep him on the list as back up, it’s more that he most likely wouldn’t want that at all.
A 600000 reserves player, when u have screaming players whom deserve huge contracts.
It's a obvious salary cap dump

Things are never as bad or as good as they appear in this league

We were ravaged by injury more than anyone i can remember this year.

This year will do our development good, If we lose a couple to high end pick trades so be it, get the next wave in and go again.

Couldn't agree more.

Steely for Baker
Short back into the role Rioli took from him
MRJ with more fitness, maybe some midfield time

New fitness guru (hopefully)

Gibcus fit
Lynch fit
Broad Leadership in the backline to continue

Balta, Broad, Gibcus, Miller, Short, Vlaustin through the backline
Hopper, Taranto, Kane Mc, Pick 1, Pick 6 through the midfield
Lynch, Bauer, Mansell, MRJ, Campbell through the forward line

Mansell ended the season as a top 100 AFL player.

Brown, Banks, Hugo, Ross, Bauer another year of development.

I know we're going to struggle at times, but I genuinely don't think its quite as bad as what we're all thinking right now.

Would probably rather Juddy over Seth in the forward line tbh. Seth off half back would be interesting loves to run, hacks his kicks at times but will be better as the season progresses

This is the KEY! The club needs to go all out, get the best, spend whatever it takes, we have seen many times, young teams super fit, play some great footy

Lukosius and Noble not worth anything like that.

I would think Crows would be crying out for the type of top end mid pick 4 is likely to get them. But let's say they actually wanted Lukosius.

It would be more like pick 4 on its own for Lukosius, pick 13 and pick 20, especially given Lukosius is said to be on a back ended contract. In that scenario Suns might offer us pick 4 on its own or pick 6 + 26 and we make some moderate contribution to Dan's salary. Maybe us and Crows give Suns one later pick each so they can match Lombard.

I am pretty sure Suns and Tigers would be delighted with that. It is whether Crows would give up pick 4 and likely a gun mid, and say pick 42 to get back Lukosius, picks 13 & 20, which will end up at around 15 and 25. I wouldn't expect the Crows to go for that, but you never know.

Suns would get Rioli with say $200k x 3 years paid + Lombard + pick 4 or 6 + Noble(for pick 34) and they would consider that a decent outcome, but would give up Lukosius and pick 6, 13, 20, 26, 34 to make al that happen.

Richmond would get pick 4 or 6+26 for Rioli + $600k(over 3 years) + say pick 41.

Crows would get Lukosius and his fat back ended salary + picks 13 & 20 for picks 4 & 42.
