when asked what type of players GWS needed he went on to say that they need quality established mature players and when aske what possitions he said

can't see us giving up Ellis, honestly. There could be 18 players you would give up before Ellis unless you got some serious compo from GWS.

I think we should grab D Shiel and the Boyd pick off GWS if we can. We would have to put some serious names forward to do it though

Not Cotchin for starters. Too important to the fabric and leadership of RFC

I wouldn't give up JR just for Boyd either..

I am not sure GWS are that desperate for a defender just atm but if they are we have a few.

Just think Boyd is important , structure wise and setting up our list and including cap space for targets in the next few years. The other thing with Boyd is he with JR become a marketing ploy to attract other talent to the club

If I had to give up 1 it would be Lids.

The possibility is we could trade a few players between the clubs of GWS and RFC.

without mentioning names but their are a few possibilities , not sure how probable they are but if we trade a few and got Boyd, Adams and Shiel say. That would mean it would take 8 years after the trade for these guys RFC have to worry about FA for these. Likewise GWS wouldn't have to worry for 8 years for players we traded them. That doesn't mean they can't be traded later in trades. But it means GWS and RFC help each stop FA hurting our clubs in terms of being on the wrong end of unfair deals, which reduces our premiership chances including our players premiership chances

Not that i heard anything or have a source but id like to start a rumour, sam blease is extremely happy at melbourne because the 1st day that paul roos came into the club - He asked who the red headed girl was and they told him he is a melbourne player and paul asked has anybody seen him naked in the shower

Reckon every player would be told if they are being spoken about, as I reckon some would be pissed hearing it via gossip reports in the media. Riewoldt ringing Saints is a classic example of what could happen when players don't know/aren't told about possible deals.

Loyalty needs to go both ways sometimes. Lids could have left us at any point in his career while we were total shit. Instead he signed a 5 year deal to show how much he loves the RFC. Didn't even want a bar of free agency to try and hold the club to ransom to increase his salary.

Absolutely no ****ing way should we even entertain trading Deledio. Seriously.

Whats with the dumb suggestions to trade out Lids, Rance, Jack etc (for unproven talent)

We cant be trading out good players in between 22-26 ... Our premiership window is open, we could pinch a flag in 2014, its a big if, but its possible.

We start getting rid of our core players for 18 year old kids and all of a sudden we are taking 2 steps back.
