Trade Russell for Adam Thomson?

Sometimes I wonder, I really do.

And why dont we jsut give Port Judd as a goodwill present?

Your one joke routine was strained a fortnight ago.

Spoke to a Port friend re Adam Thomson. Dissapointed that he would want to leave Port but suggested that he started showing early signs of OP, which explains why he was in an out Port's side this year. Given the potential of OP, doesn't that mean we would want to touch him??

He cant break a tag at SANFL level, despite being in the AFL system for a few years. I cant imagine we'd be too interested looking at our midfield

You only strive to avoid wooden spoons.. and you haven't been all that successful doing it :p
You know what's worse dill...one premiership in 50 years and that took the weakest season ever. Imagine if it wasn't for that it would've been a 50 year drought. Form is temporary but class, in this case, your lack of, is permanent.

Wobble wobble Colliwobble. Collingwood supporters never learn.

Big loser!!! hahahahahahahahahaha !!!

wait, so we should go after a bloke who cant get a game in ports midfield???

 why?
Port made the Grand Final last year, so you can't say they have a poor midfield. Port fans have said Williams prefers footballers who can win the ball and play a running game, so Thomson hasn't played too many games this year. They've been whinging about Thomson not getting a game ahead of P.Burgoyne this year.

And Thomson has had OP.

I can't see Thomson getting to Carlton when we're after Warnock.

This draft is supposed to be pretty deep, so I think we could draft a better mid than Thomson at pick 24 if we can't get a deal done for Warnock. I doubt pick 40 would satisfy Mark Williams who wouldn't want to deal with us anyway. ;)

According to the Power bloggers he seems to have achieved martyr status or at least become some sort of scapegoat for Port's poor form this year. Seen him in action at both AFL and SANFL level - cant say he's been a standout although he is hard at the ball. I reckon his team mate at Port and Sturt, Greg Bentley who has been linked to Melbourne has loads more potential and has also been given little game time by Choco. Bentley covers plenty of territory, great foot skills, reads the play well and seems to find space - defensive work needs some improving but overall could be a useful addition in midfield rotations.

Check it out.

Great in and under player, hard nut.
Shame he's going but I don't reckon they gave him a chance this year. Good trade. Didn't Juddy have op?

No, Juddy had a groin that was unfixable, that once touched and attempted to be repaired would be damaged for life, this rendering him unable to ever play again, or even walk.

But didn't Jesus just perform miracles this year!!
