Great news on the Whiley/Jaksch package, would still like to snaffle Crisp though seeing as he is on offer.
Reckon the Blues could wedge into part of that Beams deal ??
Here's a way it could work :
Robinson to Collingwood
Beams to Brisbane
Lions picks #5 & #25 to Collingwood
Crisp to Carlton
And whilst we are at it, why not try and gazump the Saints with Membrey, they are only offering a late pick for him.

Anybody else think he is better (and younger) player than Griffen? I sure do.

As good as griff is - he's 28. Boyd is 19. That itself increases Boyd's value.
Best part about Whiley is he's built and ready to go. Also does this count as us beating out Collingwood for his signature now? Will it stop them saying we can't attract players like Lynch and White?

Yeah, was just responding to Griff v Beams ..
On that trade though .. No chance Bulldogs accept pick 4 and nothing valuable... I'm still expecting picks 4 + 7 more likely than Giants giving up Boyd, but won't be surprised to see Boyd there. Griffen's value to the Bulldogs is relevant ... Captain, best player.

Haha! Aesthetically they are very similar, but even moreso in their game styles. Sounds like he relishes the contested footy and racks up high disposal numbers like the 2014 Brownlow Medallist - who incidentally also started out his career as a tagger when drafted by West Coast.
