Not saying they aren't underperforming, or don't need a new head coach, but they've just won two knockout finals, which we haven't been able to do since 2014.

Also for 2023, they are getting Will Ashcroft compared to us with literally no current pick in the top 50 if we do trade 8 for Dunkley.
So you would’ve preferred we lost the first finals we played in the past few seasons so we could’ve won a knockout final?

Any news or update on a potential tall defender???

I feel like we are covering all areas trade wise pretty well minus the blatent hole that could make us a genuine contender next year.
It was on with mackay until north got clarko.

If we had've gotten clarko we would have mackay and Jhf but were stuck with our dick in our hands

"The compensation pick that Port gets from Hawthorn for winger Karl Amon would nearly be enough, with Frederick potentially the sweetener to get the deal over the line."

what a trade would that be lol... Amon and Fredrick for Rioli haha carn!
Sounds like some of Tim Gossage work. Makes Rowie look like he is fair balanced and informed.

Port fans prob jump at that, purely because of our need for small forwards, but if Pickett wanted out that’s a good deal for Melbourne

This might surprise a few if they’re not familiar with Melbourne’s list, but duursma would be their best mid under 26 by a massive margin.

having said that I can’t see Melbourne letting Pickett go while contracted for anything less than massive overs, and that deal isn’t massive overs.

Slow news day for Channel Seven

Pickett is not low teens unfortunately. He is top 10 absolute minimum.

Dunkley is 100% a top ten pick.
Pickett is worth a top ten next year; this year he is worth two first rounders (as he is still under contract).
Like the Bombers offer to Rankine, who then started thinking about leaving the Gold Coast; we are hopefully helping him contemplate leaving the Dees.
