"The compensation pick that Port gets from Hawthorn for winger Karl Amon would nearly be enough, with Frederick potentially the sweetener to get the deal over the line."

what a trade would that be lol... Amon and Fredrick for Rioli haha carn!

This can’t be a legit quote. I’m more worried about over spending on Rioli than I am about Dunkley

What is this from. The West Coast board?

Whoever has written this should lay off the drugs.

Did I hear right that George, Rozee, Butters and Raz went to the US with Boaky?

If so can't see George wanting to go anywhere and the rumours as usual are rubbish.

Burton has spoken of the raw emotions last month while holidaying in the United States, when his manager broke the news that the Hawks wanted to trade him to Port Adelaide

Wake up.

Why not just Rioli for Frederick if they want a player?

Rioli is worth more than Frederick. Marty is a decent player but his trade value is basically nothing because he's been stuck so far down our depth chart.

I mean I wasn't being entirely serious, but I think Rioli in a straight swap for Frederick is far more reasonable than a lot of the ridiculous things being said lately.

Frederick probably worth about 72. Rioli probably worth about 58.

Apart from Che, I’m used to seeing indigenous talent depart alberton... anything to do with Shaun perhaps, if both Rioli and Pickett lob? Unless it’s all Ken!!

Two entirely different scenarios here. Burton was on Holiday and George is training with Boaky trying to get in better shape for next season.

Not saying it couldn't happen but I don't see it happening unless the club see and offer they can't refuse when he is still contracted for next season.

With regards to Dunkley, one take out of all this 'will he go to Brisbane or Port' talk is the level of supreme confidence (arrogance) coming from Brisbane supporters, on the main board, that they are the logical (even obvious or only) choice, irrespective of girlfriends, sisters, etc..

To think that the legendary PAFC is the considered to be the inferior, or less desirable destination club, when compare to a club located in a non footballing state where football is a passing thought, is a dagger to the heart. Ken has a lot to answer for..

I mean right now they are absolutely right.

In another prelim after being robbed the past couple, with the best young player in the country joining them for 2023. Who wouldn't want to be part of that side?

Meanwhile we haven't won a knockout final in 8 years, are persisting with a head coach who has a club underperforming the list more than any other in 2022, and haven't even confirmed a succession plan for the future.

I know where I'd prefer to be.

If they lose tonight they are absolutely no different to us. Their list would be just as underperforming if not more than ours.

The pessimist in me says:

Dunkley nominates Brisbane
Amon compo pick used on Rioli
We do something funky with this year's first round pick and miss out on Phillipou

The last shred of optimism says:

We keep next year's first rounder

And the Pickett talk, for this year at least, is just Rooch's wet dream
and mine:drunk:

Not saying they aren't underperforming, or don't need a new head coach, but they've just won two knockout finals, which we haven't been able to do since 2014.

Also for 2023, they are getting Will Ashcroft compared to us with literally no current pick in the top 50 if we do trade 8 for Dunkley.
