not so respectfully i disagree with each one of your points

You have absolutely no idea. The hit in round one dislocated his SC joint and caused nerve damage. He was in pretty awful pain for the next few weeks. In SANFL game where he returned after a couple of weeks off he was elbowed in the throat and couldn’t breathe for two minutes. Criticise anything about his footy but you cannot question his courage or toughness.

Imagine trying to troll us by taking shots at our youth from the glass house that is north

If I was trolling I’d mention that Jase will play with Choppy’s son soon. Power must be spewing they changed the rules on next gen academy players. Thank goodness Byron played over 100 games for North

Do you remember the deals North knocked back for him before we drafted him? Jase told Brady he wanted to go to North so they didn’t take the offers. He’s probably going to be our captain one day 👍
Unless he leaves next year when you can't stop him.

It’ll take 2x top 10 picks plus one of your best players under 25 this year. North wouldn’t even trade Xerri because he was contracted and wanted to go to StKilda. They’re certainly not going to accept anything less then a kings ransom for Jase.

I'm not so sure about that because when a player decides he wants out then it's not in the club's interest to keep him at any cost. Furthermore if they wait until the end of next year when he's uncontracted then you'll get even less for JHF.

Assuming west coast finish bottom next year too then he can go there for nothing, the richest and off-field most powerful club in the land.

The recruiting at your club has been deplorable for years. Cannot believe you knocked back 3 first round picks, including a pick 4 for JHF. Actually, cannot believe Adelaide offered that much.

Thank god they did

Choppy jnr may elect to not nominate as a F/S for North.

Well Xerri wanted to leave last year and was still in contact but the Saints deal wasn’t good enough so they didn’t trade him, Xerri just signed a 3 year contract at North.

North asked Jase if he wanted to stay in Adelaide and if he did they’d accept the trade, he said he wanted to go to North.

He’s our first number 1 draft pick and worth more to the North brand then just picks. IF he requested a trade this year, (which he won’t) the trade would have to be so heavily weighted in Norths favour so the club can sell it to the members as a positive.

IF he requested a trade when his contract is up in 2023 then unless the Crows or Power are lower then North on the ladder, the offer still needs to be substantial….then you have to ask if that was the case why would he want to go backwards?

Fair to say that 2023 is a big year for North. It’ll definitely be better then this year though with more games under the belts of LDU, Simpkin, Powell, Thomas, Taylor, Phillips, McKay, Larkey, Curtis, Perez, Zurhaar and of course JHF and a probable new number 1 or 2 pick into the squad. Oh and Ben Cunnington back.

Things can change pretty quickly.

Have you met Snake Baker? He used to post here regularly. You 2 would get on like a house on fire

Xerri (cousin of Xerox) got to stay in his home state and rightfully plundered norf for probably double his original contract offer. Don’t try and spin that at norf playing hardball, it was a player manager bending you over.

Also lol that Xerri was/is a lifelong Roos fan and still suckered your lot in.

oh no haha, this is teffy isn't it.

18,000 posts since Dec 2017

Nah I don’t abuse anyone. I actually rarely leave the North board. I was just curious because someone from this board liked one of my posts so I came over to have a look. To be honest I was surprised when I saw that the Power board had a thread about a North player.

Yes
They were more in line with what everyone is saying
When it's all said and done North benefit 2 top ten picks

When you'd rather go to Norf than the Crows.

To be fair it’s a general trade thread that’s pivoted to a current North player given his (reported) discontent

Let’s not get carried away aside from JHF there isn’t talk of trading for any North players

It will be tricky convincing a player to go to north. If any wanted to return to Victoria, they have 9 other clubs that they would pick ahead of north.

Another pick will have to be involved. Probably Amon compo
If we can convince North to give JHF money to Amon and get him up to tier 1 compo I'd happily give up both our 1sts this year and a 2nd rounder.

North get 2 x 1sts and a 2nd for JHF.

We get JHF for effectively a 1st and 2 x 2nds (one being the one we would likely get for Amon otherwise).

What discontent? Have you got a link to an article or anything? I know he has put off contract talk for the time being but that’s not unusual, McGrath did it and didn’t sign till late in his second year. I think the only player to ever do it was Boyd and that was a $1M per year for a number of years. Can’t think of any others
