If you were to do those trades, you'd trade out Boomer this week, before he drops a lot in price, and Houlihan goes up.

Nothing for I think, depends if Hill is playing. Probably will go Hill to Rance and Anthony to Beams/Zaharakis next week.

I've got exactly the same problem. I have Petrenko on the bench so it gives me cover assuming that he will be named.

I am going to boot Hill. He just doesn't look like getting it. Too slight of build to be any use. He will now be dropped, people will start asking why Rich wasn't taken ahead of Hill as Freo are desperate for hard bodied midfielders, Fremantle will continue to suck, and the coach will get the arse. Pavlich will got to Gold Coast and Fremantle will be called the Tasmanian Dockers.

In all reality, Hill will be a much much better player next year. He would have gotten used to the physicality and pace of AFL, put on some weight and improve a lot.

Hurley looked a great player. Able to do the hard work and his great kicking means he is highly needed in Essendon's backline which is full of hacks. Essendon's youth policy means he will get a lot of games. Touted by the coach as capable of playing both forward and back so has flexibility.

By booting Hill you also save yourself 70k if you downgrade to a Cheney or Rance. You can do a lot with that. Now, the only question, Rance V Cheney. Would love to hear some opinions of who people think might get more games.

Definitely get McIntosh. Leunberger is a hack who will average you 40.

Haselby is slowly starting to get cranking and will be a magnificent upgrade option around round 12 when his price will increase.....maybe even a keeper if he start getting around 90s.

option 3 is the most necessary, because at least Gilbert will be playing. Option 1 and 2 are good too tho.
