On Wed i remember seeing Boekhorst, Graham, Sumner and one or two others at most. Not sure about the senior guys.Just as an aside..........how many do we have in the post-op rehab group?

This may not mean much, but Plowman definitely wasn't being left behind in the running drills. I think the potential for midfield is there. Has a great build.

Wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if we played Plowman as third tall defender and Jaksch as third tall forward... and then during a game, have them swing to opposite ends for a spell.Plowman doing a little kicking in front of the sticks. Interesting...
Reckon Daisy will surprise some people.
Plowman wasn't brought in to us, as solely a back-man.
Guy will be a beast and will be given the chance to develop as a mid.......although a short one.......compared to Cripps.
1-2 more years I suspect for Jamo... the slightest knock to them and he goes down clutching them.Jamison's shoulders aren't in great shape. I understand he has fears for them post AFL career.
We've had a lot of things go wrong for our club for one reason or another but we've certainly had players playing at far less then 100% fitness.
a midfield of cripps murphy gibbs plowman graham curnow docherty whiley sumner lamb thomas kerridge byrne has some depth and real potential. Add 2/3 of balic francis oliver clarke gresham partington and its looking very good.
Docherty & Plowman are the guys I want to see in middle.
Reckon Docherty could become quite a revelation if we give him the opportunity.
docherty played in the midfield when he arrived under malthouse. did very well and wasnt fit. we have enough running defenders to release him. in a few years i could see byrne as a gun mid as well.
Don't want to take Byrne out of his comfort zone and he'd likely make for a better forward than a mid, anyway.
Docherty is the one I think could surprise. I've seen him make very good decisions in close this time last year and should be the next cab off the rank.
agree about docherty in the midfield. good user and decison maker and wins the ball. i still think byrne with a year or two under him could be a star mid. has size and physicality, a running ability and his ball use is as good as we have. an elite user. just my thoughts.
Everitt for me, I think he's got all the makings of a special player. The kids are in training but who are we looking forward to from the senior guys?
Who do we expect to............(I have to say it)................take it to the next level?
It's funny though when you look at things, that there aren't many senior guys to return.
I expect Gibbs, Tuohy & Kreuzer to be the stand-outs.
Bigger yes, but still dwarfed by Keg Kerridge. Is it just me or is Buckley looking HUGE?

Needs to concentrate on work rate and four quarter effort but I think BB will make him into an excellent player.
I never want to hear that word again!Get BB onto the fartlek!!
We can't fit Doc, Plow, Buckley, Touhy, Sheehan and Byrne all at half back (not to mention Simmo who will probably see out his career down there). Will be good to see some of these names in the middle or forward.Docherty & Plowman are the guys I want to see in middle.

I hate running long distances. Sprinting was always my go. Give me the footy too, that's the easiest part by miles & miles..

Murph and Cam Wood had surgeries and both wore slings to the BnF.Just as an aside..........how many do we have in the post-op rehab group?
I want the three irish guys as our defensive flankers who and push up to the wing. Doc could definately spend more time in the middle, and Buckley could really utilise his pace as an ouside mid.We can't fit Doc, Plow, Buckley, Touhy, Sheehan and Byrne all at half back (not to mention Simmo who will probably see out his career down there).
