Murph and Cam Wood had surgeries and both wore slings to the BnF.
Murph makes sense, he did have the shoulder against Melbourne. Any idea how the rehab is going? Don't think I saw him in a sling in the photos this week?

Cripps, Murphy and Gibbs are the 'provens' The others are just the 'hopes'

Curnow does what he knows how to do without the flash.........Docherty & Plowman are the guys I want to see in middle.
Reckon Docherty could become quite a revelation if we give him the opportunity.

Which of our curnow's are you talking about?

Agreed. With the amount of HBFs at the club I'd like to see him on ball and further up the ground - wing/HFF. Neat skills.

Jamison is the interesting player for me.
Last year it appeared as though he was playing as if he were made of glass.
If his body is failing him to this degree, it's a real worry going forward.
I'm hoping he can have a solid pre season ,as,injury free, he still has a role to play and could be instrumental in a smooth transition of Plowman and Weitering into the defensive unit.
Jamison is one of my favourites, I've never seen him give less than everything he's got. Unsung hero in my opinion, and fantastically underrated generally.
But he's "damaged", I think his body has taken a battering over the years and I get nervous for him every time he's in a contest. I can't imagine how he feels.
I hope he'll have an injury free year, I think he's vital to our side and our development.

And looking a lot leaner than I have seen him in a couple of years...

I'm not kidding and this isn't Carlton bias, but if he played for a top 4 club, he'd be heralded as one of, if not the best, full back in the comp.

Perhaps but he's too fragile
He is now, his body, especially those shoulders, have taken a beating over the years.
But his performances, in a side that does very little defensively, have been enormous. I think he's massively underrated.

Not to some of the players that he's played on. I remember seeing an interview with Jono Brown who mentioned that Jamo is the hardest defender he's played on.

Are we perhaps looking at moving him to 2nd or 3rd defender? Perhaps playing that Josh Gibson style role?
