We have read a lot about how well Weitering, Curnow and Cuningham have gone this off season, and how they should see senior action in 2016. This is obviously terrific news.

But, I haven't heard the same degree of reports regarding the GWS/GC lads we brought to the club last trade / draft period. Are any of these lads knocking the door down for selection?

Plowman was looking good pre-injury. Phillips has been excellent, would have a spot in the 22 atm. Lamb has trained well and would be pushing for a Rd 1 spot. Gorringe I haven't really noticed, and Sumner has been injured.

People tend to forget that for Menzel (while young and full of potensh, had injury and attitude issues) we got Keg and the 4 GWS boys. So if only 2 of those 5 players have good long careers, we will have won that deal.

I haven't got anyone who I can confidently say Cuningham reminds me of but maybe a little bit of Tim Watson? .

Watson did have a nice burst and was capable of twists and turns at speed. Maybe

Ever since I first seen him I've thought he reminds me a lot of Kane Tennace from Geelong. They have avery similar size and shape, both have strong leg speed on the outside, both have roughly 1:2 ratio between contested/uncontested possessions and both are a bit iffy with their kicking.

DylBuck the same.
What was the term Ange used when he was interviewed at the club... a rusted on Carlton supporter.

Both of these boys are so Carlton, it's everything that they live and breath. Their bad day efforts for the club should be used as the base for the rest of the players... because they will always give their all for the club.

Reckon Kerridge will at least equal Menzels output. So anything from the other 4 will be a bonus.

I like what he said about helping to bring a fresh start to Carlton - clearly Bolton message - forget the past. Interviewer goes all right too...Jab likes.:thumbsu:
