People have a go at me when I suggest that we need the rank and file out there working. I mean look at the low end dipshittery on here. Idle hands for the working class could mean insurrection ..... as long as they can do it from home it seems. The Revolution may well have to be televised it seems
The rank and file aren't the ones with the option to work from home

More than they would being paid a fair wage?

I doubt it.

I meant that when you present Joe Public with a choice like that, it's not as clear cut as it's presented.

It took em two years to electify the Gawler line and I'm still sitting on a diesel train this morning. Imagine how long it would take to automate it. 😄
I saw a YouTube on the launch and it made the comment that they didn't have enough electric trains despite the planning and construction phase taking several years. I assumed it was sarcasm ;).

How dare workers demand better conditions?

Wouldn't be the easiest job. At some point you're just about guaranteed someone is gonna stand in front of the train deliberately and there's nothing you can do about it except watch it unfold.
My grandpa was a train driver and there was not one driver who he worked with that hadn’t hit and killed at least one person in their working life. So awful

It goes with the job. When i worked in the Steelworks Whyalla, i knew at least of three deaths by train. When i was an apprentice a backbone had been ripped out of a body found between the tracks. First person on the scene thought it was a kangaroo had been dragged down the line. Very quickly it was realised a bloke that was missing crossed the train line with rolling stock his way and didn't hear it while trying to cross.

Goodness me

I think the telly just edited out the throat slitting scene from devils advocate

This is outrageous

It seems female rights ain't the only thing going backward.
