Hah.
Saw the Oz v Danes result.
Thought "you ****ing ripper" :D

Then scrolled down to see France lost.
Thought "oh don't ****ing tell me"

Then I remembered.................... we won 2 games. So we are safely through :):D:thumbsu:

I blame it on old age - and not enough sex.

had tickets for the slayer / megadeth thebby concert in '09 but slayer pulled out late due to tom having laryngitis. they came out and told us as we were in the lineup outside.

slayer at thebby would have been loud as * as well.

saw slipknot in 1999 at thebby and that was possibly the loudest gig i've ever been to. could have also been because my ears hadn't been destroyed at that point.

#2 was cough/windhand at fowlers. windhand were loud but cough was brutally deafening.

thebby is brutal in summer on a hot night, but i suppose thats any venue.

Yeah nah. That Slipknot thebby gig was loud as ****

Flares optional

So some sort of 'Fans Zone'.....a Game Day Village if you will.

Beercans knows all.. they went from blues rock to pop fluff overnight.

Carn' I'm laying PB bait.

Tusk was the only good thing they ever did.

Funny band history though Green drops acid at some party in the woods & is never the same while Spencer goes for a walk before a gig and joins a cult.

soundwave 2013 had an absolutely ridiculous lineup

Lineup[edit]

Was there
Stinking hot day after being at Clipsal during the day
Slayer in the late afternoon was a sweat fest

Megadeth at least played for about 2.5 hours that night - Was excellent.

THat Slipknot gig was nuts.

Pantera @ Thebby was ridiculously loud too.

Two loudest gigs I've seen at Thebby was Motorhead (duh) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Motorhead was already defeaning and then about 1/4 of the way in, Lemmy asked if anyone wanted it louder and they turned the amps up. What followed next could only be compared to a 747 taking off.

Nick Cave was overly loud by accident, I think. People were visibly uncomfortable and looking at eachother as the speakers distorted and popped and we all had our fingers in our ears. Very uncomfortable.
