Imma just throw it out there but with all this Barry Humphries tributes going on, from everything I've seen of Dame Edna, it isn't particularly funny, and I don't understand how it is.

When Burt Newton, a guy I didn't know much about, passed, I seen some of his stuff and I was like, yeah, I get it. I see why he was popular. With this, especially considering the reach of it, I don't, at all.

Edna was as cutting as satire got in the mainstream back in the day.

My take was specifically related to the Edna character.

His other stuff and even just him as a person makes sense.
