Wait so Demis Roussos was a bassist & singer in a psychedelic/prog band in the late 1960's to early 70's and one of their albums is considered a classic? mind blown

This is the content that keeps me coming back.

I'm fascinated with Demis now he was a multi-instrumentalist he must have just said fukc it I want cash and broads and became a fat kaftan wearing sex symbol singing god awful stuff.. tips hat.

Austin not happy with JaGuar's latest behave-iour?

From the mid to late 1960's US emission laws drained the power of many performance cars, but re pic 3 in that 8 pic series those Jag engines just don't look right with the original triple 2'' SU carb set up replaced by a couple of Strombergs, and I suspect the change may not have resulted in much if any reduction in emissions anyway particularly while there was still lead in the fuel.

I wonder if she'll sponsor Hawthorn...

‘Hawk tuah’ girl Haliey Welch launches crypto memecoin—but insists it’s not a cash grab

"Hawk tuah" girl Haliey Welch is still going strong. Welch went viral this summer for her off-color catchphrase and has since parlayed that fame into a merchandise line and podcast featuring such guests as Mark Cuban. Now she has found a new way to express a phrase that can't be explained in polite company: a "memecoin" that launches today on the Solana blockchain.

Preferred the 66 Corvette that Felicity Shagwell drove but I am a little biased.

Haliey is the Ken Hinkley of influencers. Offers absolutely nothing but has somehow managed to turn a lucky break (Hawk Tuah/Ports' inability to attract a good coach in 2012) into a multi-million-dollar fortune. Gotta respect that.

How's the giant bowl full of dart packets lol

James Blunt knows his music is shit I think he once said "It'll get me laid though".
Someone asked him if he's worried his music isn't cool and he said something like 'ive been to war, after the things I've seen I couldn't care less about being cool'

Lads, the missus has told me she is looking to get me a great turntable for christmas and start my vinyl collection. I must be getting old but i'm keen as shit.

Anyway, i know some of you love your vinyl and turntables so wondering if you can educate me on if there are brands to avoid etc. Assume price isnt a big deal.

I have a nice big set of 5.1 jamo s608 with a sub that may be a good candidate to go with it, but also open to a new nice set of tall speakers.

Mostly gonna be metal/gothic rock/punk but play a big mix.

I'm souring on the whole vinyl thing tbh the prices for albums are insane, but anyway avoid the budget Audio Technica TT's they can sound pretty decent but have flimsy cheap parts until you get to the six or seven hundred price point and beyond. I'd go vintage myself with a heavy plinth & replaceable/upgradeable cart options you'll find the odd person that doesn't know the true value of certain TT's on marketplace etc.

You'll need a good integrated amplifier (powered speakers suck if you ask me & inbuilt preamps on TT's are low quality) so look at marantz, rotel, nad, yamaha etc. or go vintage (vintage marantz & rotel amps can be awesome).

My nod on a decent newish budget amp is a Rotel A10 it has a lovely phono stage.. sold one and regret it.

Kinda miss my Stromberg, it was really easy to spin the wheels with that
