Don't be so sure. Xavs did it a long time ago and their undefeated Premier side copped a 13-14 goal hiding by a Hampton side that went on to win the flag undefeated in 2 (Blue).

The premiere side has to fight of the Uni Blacks who are tied on points for 4th spot, and you'd bet that the Uni Blacks will fight like buggery, not to mention that if Bedes loses they could lose top spot, as De La would sneak by on points.

Bentleigh vs Parkdale- neither team have anything to play for so it could go either way in theory but im tipping bentleigh at home by 9 goals.
Hampton vs Peninsula- Hampton to ease into finals with 80+ point win.
Prahran/Caul vs De La Salle- Same as Hampton, De La by 50-60 points.
Monash vs St Bedes- Monash by plenty, 70 points+.
MHSOBA vs Ajax- Ajax by the length of the new and improved Flemington straight.
MHS back to about 18 players this week after having 24 last week, same story/team as against hampton and predicting a very similar result.

once again you little st bedes **** and your 14 yr old girl msn conversations. your attempt at humour is not funny so fukc off. is the st bedes 2's entirely made up of yr 11's and 12's, although you were all weak, shit and pube-less, if you have another 2 years together of u/19's 2's you may be alright in 2 years.

as for this week -

the division between top 4 and the rest would be more like 8 games if there were no injuries and it were mathematically possible. although the competition is unequal, the top 4 sides are very well matched when at full strength and i think this will be a stellar final series with at least 2 games decided by less than 10points.
- monash will, without doubt, make the granny. they are def not certainty's to win it in my opinion as all others teams are quality when firing. monash are consistentally good though
- ajax are a quality skilled side (typical of all ajax sides) and i don't think should be counted out as quickly as some people are doing as on their day they can definately come away with the bacon (not literally)
- in my opinion hampton have underachieved in a way this year. if they can overcome the first massive hurdle in de la i would even pick them to go all the way
- and de la are the 'dark horse' in some respects for the final series. if i were to tip right now though i think they will beat hampton first game by less than 10 points. but that depends on the cattle on the paddock
the top 4 has been the same since round 6. next week will be interesting!!
