Those chicken legs arent taking too many leg kicks from Gane. Bring on tomorrow!

Placed any bets on the fight yet mate?

Gane pretty big tbh. I think he should be fav all things considered. 3 years off, looked shit v Reyes. Hows he coming back better?

If im wrong, im wrong but i cap Gane about 1.70 and hes 2.45 so big value in my eyes

Kinda like Brunson at longish odds too. Dircus went life and death with the corpse of Till. Brunsons old and out the door though so risky. Nothing else stands out to me. You?

Totally agree with all of that. Gane, decent value. Wondering about a finish in round 2/3.

Thinking about Garbrandt/Jones but neither really done anything in the last few years so staying away from that one.

Tempted to chuck a cheeky fiver on Jalen Turner by points.

I assume Gamrot pressure and control wins and if Turner does hes blown him out early but its never that simple...

Shev fight starts round 3 should be pretty safe and 1.56 is ok. Id say thats a 1.30 shot

Only watched 15 mins but **** me hearing DC tell Smith sums up the two. DC would take a dive to win the belt and that's why he will always be seen as not a real LHW title. And why Smith is known as Lionheart, never gives up. Reyes is a joke

What's everyone's plan today? I'm getting dropped off at my mates for the start of the prelims with a full esky, can't wait.

And my final prediction is Jones via late TKO ground and pound. I really don't know how this fight is going to go though.

I was meant to be going to bed and then downloading a replay tomorrow without checking the results beforehand.

Instead I have a feeling I'll be staying up all night and the main event will begin as the sun comes up. As usual.

I've gotta stop doing this to myself.

As for predictions, burge has convinced me, Gane ftw.

At home on baby duty. Little bastard better comply.

Slick win from Ricci. Not sure she's quite got the game to compete with the likes of Weili, Rose and Andrade, but undefeated at flyweight and looking better every outing.

2 ways this fight can go imo*

1. Jones is KO'd early, which is a good chance.

2. Jones survives the initial danger period and as the fight gets longer he gets better, either wins by decision or gets a late finish.

My Prediction

7 out of Jones last 10 fights (70%) have went to decision, I see it happening again. Jones by UD 48-47, Gane will win first 2 rounds and Jones last 3.

The pacing from here on should be good, they are way behind schedule, lol.
Nothing better than the early prelims running behind and the rest of the event having to cut all the bullshit to catch up.

Good win in the end by Garry but crazy how the commentators ride his nuts when he really should have been finished in round 1.

This is why its often good to just catch the replays. Forward through crap to watch their 8 hour broadcast in 90 mins lol

I cant do it with big fights though, too hard to avoid results!

Gane KOing JJ early seems fairly unlikely to me. Of course we don't know how Jones will go against the HW power, but not only has he not really ever been close to KOd, but Gane is not one to come out swinging for the fences.

Having rewatched Gane/Ngannou last night, I was reminded that Gane's wrestling wasn't actually that bad. It was the decision making at crucial times, to go for submissions instead of securing position, that cost him. Then with Francis' immense weight and surprising control, it just took its toll on Gane. With a good team behind him and a different mindset, Gane should have made significant improvements and the ground aspect might not be as one-sided as we're expecting.

Still, sticking with a Jon Jones TKO sometime after the 2nd round.

We now have four fights spread across two hours.

They've gone from break-neck speed in the early prelims (even Bruce Buffer was rushing through his lines) to four fights spread across 2 hours (after 20 minutes at the end of the early prelims of pure junk).

Assuming they fluff the first ten minutes of the main card, this will mean four fights, a maximum of 60 minutes of actual fight time, in the span of 2 hours 30 minutes.
