They stopped naming a 'team' a couple of years ago. This way they can just name the best-22 performers and if that includes no players of a certain type then so be it.

Nope, Is the fist year they havnt named a team.

Last year Leigh Adams and Hurley were onballer's

a little disappointed in the aa squad to be honest.

act 2 - (sorry i dont know all their names)
bird was a certainty but i thought #1 had a better carnival than #12 (obviously being short he doesnt meet the AFL specs)

tassie had 3 -
collier was good but keep almost ineffective by gugliotta at skilled (many kicks across half back and under a lot of pressure)
cornellius - come on this guy was owned by brad campbell from the NT in both the 16s last year, the challenge and nationals this year. so for any vic or wa guys to miss out slightly (sampey etc) this is poor

Cale Morton won the larke medal, thoroughly deserved IMO for consistency across all 3 games.

34 disposals and 5 goals
36 disposals and 1 goal
27 disposals and 3 goals

I think thats consistency.
And i dare say after game 1, Palmer would have been receiving close attention

Also, has there been any bottom-aged Larke Medal winners other than Cale Morton

Saw W.A vs Vic M and heard from a friend about his game Vs S.A and its obvious he gets a fair few cheap stats and his teamates look for him. his handball recieves would be through the roof could have had somthing to do with not winning? Also to say he is a top5 draft pick is a joke there is no way he will go top, first round maybe purely because of his cranival..

james polkinghorne has been dominating the tac cup season to date for the cannons and i thought he was certain to get drafted. did he do himself any favours throughout the carnival. i havent heard much about his form throughout the three games but he missed out on th aa squad so obviously didnt perform to well.

Never seen him play before, but thought he did well in the Metro v WA match.

His attack on the footy stood out.

Palmer was the best player at the carnival by far, Mortons good but why does he have to be in every interview the WA papers make i was over there recentley and in there sport section guess whos on the front cover followed by a full page article about him a couple of pages in.

Palmer was Unlucky

Larke medal goes to Mitch/Jaryd sorry Cale Morton

Did you see the 3 tassie games, the three players from tassie were the most consistent - doesnt matter what AA team is picked someone is always going to disagree - LETS see how the draft goes 2007 & 2008 and see who gets picked up and who doesnt, then you can have a real moan, LOSER!!
