Just speaking to some of the boys from Toorak park who tell me they still have their star player one M. Amad to come back in, never heard of the guy could any other xavs fill me in?!?!?!?!?

Just got back from watching 3 brilliant games of football. But to the u19 game well what a joke that was, if I have ever seen a side beint given a free ride from the umpires well that's what xavier had today. Apart from ulbrick and noonan who dominated the xavs looked fumbly and scared of the physicality of de la around the ball. i truely believe the xavier side will not be so lucky next time. On a postive note they still have amad and Chester to come into the side

Apparently he is a 6 foot 6, 105 kg utility who can literally play anywhere, and Xavier will need someone like that after todays performance. Really dissapointing from a team who reckon they're up there- if it wasn't for those ****ing maggots they would have lost by at least 89 points.

I'd just love to see Xavier without Ulbrick, Lees and that Booey bloke though. I doubt they would have even gathered a team, clearly the spiritual leaders of the club.

I’ve never heard such a bunch of whinging losers… I went to the de la xavs game as an on looker and didn’t notice the so called abysmal umpiring… the fact of the matter is de la were not good enough yesterday at all…they don’t have a forward line or a ruckman… their endeavour was good and it was tough game but you were beaten buy a far better side on the day. Xavs if they can hold that form will be a team playing in the final four. De la has some soul searching to do. There under ages who have come out from school dominating… have to have a look at themselves they think it’ll just happen for them but it’s a different style of footy and they are to arrogant to realise….

Went down to Trinity as well to see them play scotch… very good game and extremely physical and the players looked exhausted on that massive ground. Trinity not quite up to scratch yet but they did show some good movement. Should have been a blow out if Scotch could kick straight... but when scotch did turn it on their ability to kick quick goals in very little time was impressive…

Lachal the game turner when he decided to give half a nudge to the no.3, for his sake lachal was dragged soon after, for an unrelated reason

Lachal wasn't dragged the umpire called the 'uni' rule on him as some of his uni was oozing... wasnt too much of a worry the docs fixed it up pretty quickly on the boundary and he was back on after that.

Xavier were more than impressive on saturday. After 1/4 time just didnt let de la near the ball. Noonan is an absolute gun, de la struggled to hold him up all day and in the end he was close to the difference.

Xavier looked to have good structure and played for eachother for 4 quarters. On the other hand de la looked unfit, lazy and unaccountable.

Can we expect a big showing this year from Xavier? I think so

As for de la, really need to improve on what i saw on saturday or they will not be as strong or do as well as what everyone thought.

before we get some tips for the uncoming ANZAC round, just want to know about the rupterswood game and the bedes game???

What happened with Marcelin to be so shit??? there list still has some players in their from last yrs 3rd place team??? i know noone would have gone to sunbury to watch it so rupertswood posters without pumping yourself up too much are you that good or are Marcelin ordinary also is Rush a tall/small?

Kick it, have a look at my post on the first page of this thread. That might give you an idea of what happened on Saturday. Impressive start but I want to see if Rupo can match it with teams that have consistently beaten them over the past few years [Marcellin not one of them]. JR is a versatile player. Probably best when he can use his speed and ball winning skills. I'm not sure about Saturday as I didn't see the game. 9 goals was a surprise. Perhaps a day out.

riduculous comment hateitorlovett13,

i'd love to see carlton without judd, fevola and murphy but guess what, there in the team. fantasising over what players teams do and dont have does nothing to change outcomes. the fact is xavs have those blokes. of course teams would struggle without thier best players. and never in a game of football have the umpires had a 100 point influence. if you going to put these comments out for all to see make them semi-plausible

Bauey over Trinity (4 goals)
st Bedes over Blues (8 goals)
Uni Blacks over Scotch (2 goals)
De la over Eagles (9 goals)
Match of the Round: Rupertswood over OX'S (5 points)

Beauy by 36
SBMT by 50
Blacks by 15
DLS by 60
OX by 23

Can anyone tell me is Pat Liston playing for SBMT 19's this week with the TAC Cup Bye?

Thanks for the advice champion but I'll say what I want.

Admittedly, a lot depends on Lachal, and if he can play as well as he did last week then anything could happen. Hopefully for R'wood he fails to tame that severe case of unititis (I believe that's the proper medical term), because this kid can really play. Of course, umpires will again be on the Xavs side (think they've paid the bastards lolazoid).

Old Xavs won't win this week, I'll take Ruperstwood to win by over 71.5 points.

Thats a rubbish statement hateitorloveit,
You want to back a team who have never proven themselves as a genuine threat in the premier division against a team who is a proven performer year after year after year. Xaves knocked off the favourites for the title in De La last weekend by a solid 5 goals, De la may have been a little underdone but Xavier played like a team that wanted to win and perform. You really aren't putting any knowledge and facts into your statements.
Think before you speak next time.

Xavier with the upset of the round getting home over Rupertswood. I don't know how a team full of so many spuds can play that sort of footy the way they do.
surely they cannot sustain it all season.

Ulbrick dominated it was actually a joke.

Special mentions to that Chester guy and those two twins B. Ng and T. Ng

how the **** did Ulbrick not get drafted!!!!

It a joke that he is playing Under 19's, unfair on the rest of the competition.

And holy shit that Chester guy is fast, runs faster than a dog

The wingman lachal was xavier's best player today. He would be playing old xavs ones but doesn't want to. 6 AFL clubs have told him that if he continues his amazing form there might be a spot on their list for him.

Stop taking the piss out of bigfooty.
This is a place for thoughtful and insightful comments take your jokes and games other places. Ulbrick didn't play on the weekend check the team sheets you fools.

In other news Ed "Lash-out" Lachal has lashed out on rupertswood on the weekend with 'rupo' feeling the full affects on an aggressive uni boob. It is reported that at least 3 players from rupo were rushed to hospital with severe uni poisoning.
