Monash vs Bentleigh was an epic struggle - thought Monash played better but didn't convert enough. So many new faces for monash...didn't recognise any of them.
Can't wait for bentleigh vs parkdale this week. time to see if parkdale actually is the real deal. Always seem to talk themselves up as a team on the rise.

This theory doesnt take into account the massive turn over in players that happens each year unfortunately.

Obviously they need to stay together.
However if they can bond well as a team and play together as a team of mates there is no reason why they can't stay together.
About 10 just walked straight down from the school this year.
If that sort of thing happens each year eventually there is a good chance that the side will be competitive.
What it is is GREAT news for the senior club as clubs with big numbers eventually gain success as competition for spots creates better performances across the grades.

monash vs bentleigh was an epic battle. both sides played very well and bentleigh could probably count themselves very stiff not to fall over the line at the end of the day with some dubious decisions that went against them but we all get that. cant wait till those sides match up again.

Peninsula overcame Monash on the weekend in a scrappy game that could have gone either way. In all fairness, Peninsula played better on the day and their talls dominated their smaller opponents. However, the Ashes have got some good talent this year, especially up forward and in the midfield. A couple of new blokes played particularly well this week, maybe ones to look out for
