Tips for the weekend.

Fitzroy will not be suited to the Carey Grammar Sportsfields, which will see OC get up in a close one. OC by 7 points.

Banyule will get under OI skins and if they are able to rattle OI anything could happen. However i feel that the skill and speed of OI will prove too great a task for the yulas! OI by 43 points.

OE to account for a lack lustre and thuggish OP unit. OE by 67 points.

OT and OC face off in what is a school boy rivarly. OT will take the points here OT just a more polished unit with better skills and endurance, they will run over the top of OC. OT by 39 points.

Bulleen Templestowe to win the last by 85 points.

Good luck to all on the weekend, i look forward to the results.

Carey after a little bit of a purple patch will lose to a vastly improved Fitzroy. Reds by 24 points

Ivanhoe will play footy that will be disciplined and direct, whilst Banyule will try to 'walk the walk' after weeks of talking le smack. As i my earlier post said, i want banyule to win so we don't have one seemingly unbeatable side, plus i rate banyule's team ethic highly. as 'the cave' would say, Yulas will win. Banyule by 11 points

Essendon will beat Parade. Nothing more to say, Parade suck.

Trinity should and will beat Camberwell. Interesting contest here as my old mate the King of Hernias pointed out. Also interesting was his notable out for the week...could be made to look the fool here. Anywho, i think that Tboys will be too strong and precise with their footy and roll the boys in blue. Trinity by 23 points

Another good game here, i don't mind the Sharks at the moment and I will pick them to beat Bulleen. Mannigham by 30 points.

Can't wait to see the result of Banyule and Ivanhoe, hopefully the competition will be put in perspective just a little bit more. bw2.

why will greer be missing?
this could open up a large advantage to banyule whos midfield is hard at the pill led by 23 and 14.
ivanhoe are an outside team, who will rely on James muggavin, trever cotsworth and co, whos skills are good, but hardness is lacking to get the job done.

couldnt be draw between banyule and another top side could it?

good point but sadly we will be missing our star midfielder number 23 who has been selected for the seniors very disapointing for the team but good for him it is now going to be a very steep ivanhoe hill to climb tomoro, and big knackers will have his dukes out dont u worry. but we will need to have every player on the ground to do ther job if we have any chance of beating wat seems to be an unbeatable OI. Good Luck to all teams

I think Greer is playing seniors this week again, I'm not sure though. Someone from Ivanhoe will have to confirm.

Is this the same James Muggavin who eats contested footballs for breakfast? The man who has knocked out 3 of his own team mates this year, as well as countless opposition opponents? The Muggavin who played last years grand final with 1 hamstring and still dominated the ruck? Like to see you tell him his "hardness is lacking" to his face...

Ivanhoe by 70 points...

In response to Nathan Brown #7, i would agree that Ivanhoe will probarbly win. Especially after hearing from yulas that one of their key players will be playing seniors, but i hope for the good of the competition that it isn't by 70 points! I think that even the Ivanhoe boys would be wanting a bit of competition within the league.

My prediction..... Ivanhoe by 25 points. (although dont write off banyule if its a wet day. By all reports they are a very good wet weather side.)

Geez you must have had a good game cave...where is all your yap now banyule? Calling ivanhoe soft was a great form of motivation, you innovative genius. Saw no evidence of a hard or skillful team against ivanhoe, one of the biggest disappointments of the year. Struggling to see how you guys are in third place on the ladder.

No disrespect to Ivanhoe. Quality side and will be struggling to be matched this year. Good all over the ground and would need a near fluke to beat them in this comp.

manningham going down to bulleen by only a goal! - basically came down to the last kick of the day, shame for manningham. fair fight/scuffle during the last quarter too.

sorry to dissapoint the hoes who think they are top of the world but the cave didnt actually play on satdy. was injured from first XVIII duties the previous day and was unable to contribute his normal 20 goals per game which would have easily been the difference. look out parade boys next match with the yulas getting thier top players back.

The most disappointing thing about the so called "Block Buster" has been the lack of commentary about the game from either team. Where has Yulas gone.

Where OI that good, where the Bears that bad.

Did Mugavin hurt of his team mates this week?

Did Greer play?

Has Shelton being playing all year?

Did the gun CHF from Banyule play? If yes how many goals.

The previous 5 weeks has been geared to this weeks game and **** nothing. Boys, if you play on Bigfooty, you should learn to put up in the good and bad times.

OI were very good...very very good. My thoughts are that they should be playing in North Premier. Mugavin is just about the biggest bloke i have ever seen step onto the footy field and Woody Greer DID play. Shelton has been playing all year and Banyules CHF did play but was forced into the ruck against Greer and Darcy; also slotted 2 goals.
