These are a different breed of celebrities, that may have actual appeal to groups that Trump struggles with. We saw in 2016 that all the Hollywood support in the world was not enough to get the Dems over the line.

I'm not saying that being a rapper or MMA athlete makes your opinion more valid than anyone elses, of course not, but maybe Kanye, Ice Cube and the boys are influencing new voters for Trump, whereas the Dems already had the Katy Perry type votes locked up.

If Trump loses then I was wrong, it's just speculation at this point. You don't need to go for the "gotcha, hypocrite!" type posts without applying any nuance. This thread has enough of that.
