No chance no matter how impressive she is ( and she is). There not ready for a female President. If Hilary Clinton couldn't beat Trump and MAGA AOC won't beat somebody like Vance either. Newsom is their best bet because he runs California and has a presence about him already and is more left wing than either Harris and Biden are. There needs to be a complete opposite vs complete opposite agenda. Sitting in the middle doesn't cut through.

I wonder how the swing voters see it though.

The argument from the right is that Trump is more central, that the Dems are "crazy woke lefty socialists" so would projecting even further left grow the voter base or simply enhance the already rusted on Dem votes? I don't think they have an issue with the tried and true democrats. They need to grow their voter base.

As crazy as it sounds, being a little more bipartisan and "Taking the L" as the kids say would probably go a long way to restoring some faith in the party. Be humble because you got humbled.

I also think that the massive misplay during this decade has been going so hard after Trump and talking him down. It just made them look petty and weak. They kept adding to the fire by calling him names, going after him legally, etc Best way to put out a fire is to starve it of oxygen.

The Harris campaign should have been built around "Biden did everything he could to restore balance, now I'm gonna take America forward to greatness over the next 8 years."

I know that's hindsight but these are supposed to be some of the smartest people managers on the planet and nobody could see what was happening in real time?

If you find this man endearing, you have shit for brains

You dont have to like him in any shape or form but his persistence and work ethic is admirable at his age.

The guy has billions he could be doing anything else but putting himself in one of the toughest job in the world.

I tell ya if someone missed my head by inches i would of hogtailed it out of there asap.

Get with the times. The party voter demographics have flipped.

Harris campaign received almost one billion dollars, Trump $388 million.

Your Democrats ARE the party of the wealthy, they have more of the high income voters, their donors have significantly more money and influence. The sooner people recognize this the sooner they will begin to understand what is happening and why?
Whilst it is true the Democrats have become more moderate and corporate over the years. Much to the annoyance of their progressive base.

But one can't say the Republicans are no better, as they too are a party for the rich. They also have a few billionaires, and businesses behind their ranks, and they routinely give tax cuts to the upper class. Their Billionaires prefer to grift than donate. Just because the Republican Party didnt draw as many donations, doesn't mean they champion the poorer people more.

Given most of the states with the highest poverty rates are long term and deep red states. Why haven't the Republicans made a difference to the working class/ poor base?

Neither party has done a thing to close the gap between the lower and upper class. Both simp for their donors and the rich.

Your views on Trumps policies are clear,.

I'm interested, do you see him as a man of integrity, honest and of high character?
Also, do you believe the 2020 election was stolen?

No I don't think he as judged by my standards, but he at least shows what he is and isn't, as opposed to the opposition who are just as bad but far better at hiding it.

"Stolen" can mean many things.

Were there illegal votes? Yes. Enough to effect the outcome? Probably Not.

But that's not how the "steal" happened. The real "steal" happened in other ways: Big Tech for example suppressing true information unfavourable to the Biden campaign. This time, Big Tech ws under notice. Stay out of it, or else. And they did.

And then there was this: https://time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/

Does that answer your questions? Or did you want a yes or no answer?

By actually putting some effort in getting a proper candidate in I guess.

Biden was lucky enough that Trump scored a heap of own goals leading up to 2020. Biden was also a long time politician who had built up enough support.

This time around they spent far too long pretending Biden was capable of going around again before replacing him with someone I don’t think particularly stood out much at all.

They were so scared of Trump that they were trying to get Biden through for re-election. Cost them dearly.

If he had stepped aside 12 months ago and said "The impact on my health has clearly taken it's toll. I've given the American people everything I had. Please vote Democrat so that they can keep building on the foundations I've laid" then it could have been monumental.

Instead, it looked like they were trying to shortcut the process and backdoor Harris into the Presidency.

The Republicans are not hypocrtically pretending to be they are for the poor.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will still be very young (as far as politics is concerned, she'll be 38 in 2028) but she would make an AWESOME U.S President in my opinion.

I'd actually like that version of the United States.
I've seen AOC as a potential presidential candidate since 2020. She's pretty attractive too. That should not be a factor, but sex sells. No point pretending otherwise.

Her age will also be a positive factor i feel,

She can hit upon some of the positive vibes that got obama into the white house.

I would like for payments for endorsements to be public and required because I suspect a lot of that campaign money for Harris went to buying voices to try and make it seem she was more popular than she was.
:100:

I've never seen a campaign that hell bent on telling everyone just how amazing Kamala is. They probably had to given she failed to get 1% of the dem vote in 2020 and was regarded as the worst VP US has ever seen. Tried to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and thankfully it failed.

She's ruled out running for President as she feels she'd have to compromise too much on her values.

Why would I do that? White people in America and Australia are born with a systemic advantage other races aren’t blessed with.
So, kill all whites with an IQ under 110 but leave everyone else?

You're clearly a complete racist.

A Republican health care policy after promising much more, despite a fillibuster proof mandate?

Absolute fail.
IIRC the Republicans in 2016 boasted about a better healthcare system than Obamacare.
When "Trump won he said to the House Republicans "Where's the plan?"
They didn't have one.
Trump later forced out Paul Ryan (House Speaker) to retire.
